One of the best restaurants in Exeter and deservedly so - the restaurant itself is of a modern look but retains many original features from the days when it was a hospital. The food is exquisite and although pricey it still is very much affordable for a special occasion. With an open kitchen which boasts an Italian pizza oven which are big and very reasonably priced and a wine list that varies from relatively cheap to over the top it certainly caters for all and for all of us who wish to splash out once in a while. From my experience it has the best service and quality of dining experience in all of Exeter even outdoing Michael Caine's across the way! To top it all off diners are invited after supper to visit the cocktail bar which although normally members and hotel guests only still retains a very chic ambience and although pricey the cocktails are well worth it and of course if you are going to be staying or eating here then you are hardly going to be quibbling about a few drinks are you???!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
