My wife and I visited the Saffron on recommendation from a friend and we were very happy. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. The staff there were really friendly and communicative and made us feel very welcome.

On revisiting Saffron for the third time this year I was not disappointed. The food is as fresh as it could be, cooked precisely. It is clear that the food is locally sourced from its freshness. The service was a little ditzy this time, I suspect because of the theatre crowd occupying most tables. But care was taken to cater for the tastes of a very fussy 14 year-old vegetarian. The decor is as fresh as the food making for a comfortable dining experience. The food is not cheap but represents exceedingly good value for money.

Great food and prompt service. A good menu and what you would expect to pay. Can get busy in the season and week-end evenings. The waiters are a little over attentive when the restaurant is not full! The restaurant is behind the wine bar and is well appointed.
