The Chateaubriand was the best steak we have ever had! pricey at £100 but worth it!

Did you know you can’t pay cash here? It’s one of the only places I know that is completely card only. But assuming you negotiate that hurdle this place really is to be recommended. Professional and friendly staff (the two don’t always go hand-in-hand) and a bit of a metro vibe. The menu changes every few months but the steaks (an ever-present) are top quality and the curry on the menu is generally very good too.

Always a lovely meal here at The Grand. Friendly service, nice vibe and good food. The menu changes every few months too which keeps things interesting although the fab steaks are always a banker.

Wonderful Sunday lunch at the Grand today. I really think it's the place on the Fylde!

I needed some proper food so we came to The Grand. All I can say is wow!

We hired the private dining room for my partners fathers 80th over the weekend and had a lovely afternoon. I had the prawns to start which were huge and in a tasty avocado and tomato salad. I then had the lamb which melted in my mouth (no mint sauce though) and for dessert I had the cheesecake which was also lovely, but I was not over keen on the peanut butter base. The wine was excellent as was the service and will definitely visit again.

Early evening meal here midweek and even though there’s a new menu it’s hard to look past the steaks. For me, they’re the best on the Fylde Coast.

A party of us had a meal on thursday night at the Grand Hotel in St. Annes. It's a very good hotel and we normally like the food. However we were not impressed with autumn menu this time around. 2 of us found nothing we really wanted. The burger was not very good. Burgers are all the rage these days with mouthwatering options popping up everywhere, so this effort was nowhere near up to scratch. All the portions were fairly small. However the service was a good as usual. We would give it a go another time but not while that particular menu is on.

5 of us attended a family birthday at the Grand Cafe in St Annes. The food and service were very good all round. The Eastern European gentleman behind the bar made a good first impression and his colleagues followed suit. My shrimps and curried fish were very tasty and well presented. All the family commented on the quality of the food. Recommended.

My Wife and I went for dinner on 24 March 2012 and were extremely disappointed. As regulars since the beginning of 2007, when the hotel and dining facilities were refurbished, we have always really enjoyed the food, especially the tapas. Alas, these are now very poor and suggest that the dining is moving to a downmarket level with a lower level of prices. The selections are now dreadful, the portions reduced and the accompaniments that used to be served with many dished have completely disappeared. The food itself was ok but again, not as good as that we had become accustomed to. Service was ok albeit a little slow to usual, it was Saturday night and very busy so accept this aspect. Very sad that such a winning format has been lost. The dining area bar has at last introduced draught lager/beer but do not serve as the usual pints, they serve in glasses of 400ml but charge at the level of a pint. Very sneaky.
