Disgusting. Damp covering the walls. Food is horrendous. Never had a bad meal out but this place is awful. Left meal without eating more than 1 mouthful. Do not eat here.

This little Italian restaurant must be one of the best in Lancashire. Took my partner for her birthday and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel really special and thats something you dont find in many venues as your just a number to most. Owner is called Kari and her chef timaso made our night when they all sang happy birthday to Julia. Great prices, great food and great service. Cant ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

This place is just brill and if good enough for TV chef Gino Decampio then good enough for me! We had the spare ribs and these must be the best ribs in the UK.!!!Then had the seafood pizza and the Mrs had the home-made lasagna whilst my mum had the sea-bass. It was fantastic.
Then to top it all off, staff came out with a cake and exploding candle and all the restaurant sang Happy Birthday! Made my mums night. Big thank you to owner Kari Anderson and chef Tomasso.

I took my wife to Il Capriccio last weekend and I have to say, the food was absolutely brilliant.
I had the steak which was cooked to absolute perfection and my wife had the Grilled Swordfish which she enjoyed thoroughly.
The new Italian chef is absolutely fantastic and we even had the pleasure of meeting him afterwards.
Top marks to all the staff. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

We had a girl's night out dinner there on 2 July 2011 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I had the mussels followed by the steak which was cooked exactly as I ordered it. Enjoyed it so much that I just booked my Husband and I in for dinner tonight.

What a super little restaurant Capriccio is! My daughter and her friends attended & spoke so much of what a good night they all had, I took my wife their as a treat...we were not disappointed.
I visit Italy at fair bit on business and must say that the pizza and garlic breads are as good as I've had in Milano and Rome. So, if you guys want authentic Italian pizza & garlic bread, this is the place to get them.
Its great service in Capriccio and you're made to feel welcome and at home, which is a nice touch. Capriccio is only a small venue, but personally I like that as it makes it all the more homely. When I attended on Friday the place was buzzing with most singing along to the music. I felt quite young again, tho my wife insisted that was down to the two bottles of house wine id supped at just 9.95 a bottle!
Food is not 'fast' at Capricio but then no good food is if its made on the premises from scratch and not bought in or frozen.. If u want fast or impersonal then I recommend the nearby chippy or a McDonalds/KFC, but if you want the real Italian deal, Capricio is your place.
Id rec people book tho cus when we dropped in at 7.30pm on the Friday it was full, so we had to come back later. I'm back there this weekend and I'll be taking my mum here for her Mothers Day treat.

I visited il Capriccio at the weekend with two friends after i noticed it had finally re-opened. I have to say, I was impressed. We hadn't booked and turned up just hoping for a table, but the place was packed so we had to wait a while. This gave me opportunity to suss the place out & talk with the manageress who i must say is pretty damn amusing & had us in stitches.
When we were seated, it was all great. Nothing was too much trouble for Carrie and the staff. I even got my friend something cooked that wasn't on the menu. Food is excellent at this place and all at the right price. The garlic bread and pizza are the best I've had in the UK and it shows that these are authentic.
Since the refurb Capriccio looks great; its modern and charming. All in all, I love the place and now call it our local. Capriccio cant fail to please as its great food served by great staff who make you feel at home. We are back in there next weekend plus mid week for the Early Bird. This time we will book a table! Great place! Great staff. Well done Carrie & staff.

Like many in St Annes, my wife and I were stunned when Don Alfredos' closed but learning that Pepe, the proprietor had moved to Il Capricio, we decided to pay him a visit. We weren't disappointed. We both had the early bird which was good value with a starter, main and a glass of house wine for £8-95. My wife had tomato and red pepper soup whilst I had stuffed mushrooms. We then had chicken al pepe but instead of the mixed veg' we decided to have mixed salad and chips. (Crinkle cut!) It was an excellent meal spoilt only by the waiter who slopped the soup around the
edge of the bowl and then dropped half of my chips on the floor. Despite this, we will certainly return soon even though, as the driver, my wife wont be able to have a drink! (Yes, I had her glass of wine!)
