Close by the legal district in Leeds city centre, the Thai Cottage is a friendly restaurant that offers some of the best-value Thai food Leeds has to offer. It attracts a varied clientele, ranging from business types to students and the menu encompasses starters like spring rolls and Thai prawn crackers, classic Thai soups like Tom Yung Gong and Tom Kha Gai, Thai curries, and Thai fried rice and noodle dishes. Vegetarians are catered for too with tofu versions of the main menu dishes. Thai Cottage is open for lunch and dinner, Monday to Saturday.

Call 0113 245 9224 Available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Amazing food at amazing prices. We had 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 bottles of beer each all for £52 on a Friday evening. Superb value. Food is wonderful and the staff are very polite, a very pleasant all round eating experience. Ged Thorpe The most fantastic value Thai restaurant I have ever been to. At lunchtime you get and starter and any main course for a total of £7.30. Everything is fresh, fabulously flavoursome and utterly brilliant. There's masses of choice too. Paul M I love Thai cottage! Its one of those places that you go when you want to eat out, have good food but not have to get dressed up to the nines. Its very understated - no fancy decorations, the cutlery doesn't match, you get your coke still in the un-opened can and the staff (who are very welcoming especially when they start recognising your face) can't speak very good english - but it all adds to the charm though! Its a simple, clean, cheap, laid back and authentic restaurant. My friend (who lived in thailand) says that the food is the most accurate he has ever had in england. This could be because the business seems to be owned by a family - even the daughters pictured on the menu's serve you! The menu isn't massive, and meals are quite cheap - for £6.95 everyday at a certain period you can get a starter and main course. Starters are small (unless you have a soup) but you better brace yourself if you go for a rice or noodle dish as a main, they're huge! There are quite a few tables and the place is alot bigger than it seems from the outside, but it still manages to stay intimate - my partner and i reckon this is the most relaxing place in town! Get yourself down there! The Pad Thai is great! Natalie Very good food at very reasonable prices. Had the set meal for two at £8 per head - highly recommended - but watch out for the chillies! Deb Amazingly good Thai food, cooked with real style and panache at bargain prices in a basic cafe environment. Really punchy, clean, intense tastes and generous portions too - highly recommended.
