Ate at Nosh for the first time today, even though we've lived in Skipton for 20+ years! We shall return - frequently! Easy disabled access and very helpful staff (and diners). We chose to eat outside in lovely weather conditions and really enjoyed their walled and decked patio area. Very attentive waiting staff and imaginative kitchen preparation and presentation. We only ate from the starter menu - also available as mains. Delicious haddock fishcakes - and you ought to see the presentation. The chicken breast with soy sauce+ was superb. And we can both recommend the Black Forest gateau (deconstructed). Find out what THAT is - we guessed and were well rewarded. Not cheap nosh, but well worth a visit for such an appealing and imaginative menu and presentation. They are willing to mix-and-match, too. One of the finest eating/dining experiences in Skipton. Restaurant is also part of a delightful boutique hotel, which might interest some. Main carpark nearby.

We have eaten at Nosh many times now & are delighted to have such a great dining spot in Skipton. The atmosphere is delightful & it has a chille out feel.
The food is excellent & the wide & varied menu allows you to pick & mix- most of the main courses are available as smaller starters.
The vegetarian options are much more creative than most & don't rely on cheese sauce dishes.
The sauces are always delicious & there are some interesting combinations. On our most recent visit I started with king scallops, with asparagus ravioli & crispy parma ham. It was a pricey starter at £7.50 but most others come in around £5. My partners main was wild sea bass with spring onion risotto & was delicious.
