Wassand Arms is in the back streets of Hull, surrounding by industry and primarily fish filleting and processing factories. As such, its menu contains some of the finest fish you can buy, fresh everyday from the trawlers. The landlord is exceptionally friendly as well. The pub is the sister pub to The Ferry in Ellerby and supplies some of the other items on the menu such as pies etc. The beer is good with three hand pull real ales, and a range of lagers. The the fresh fish is the star, so be brave, head to the back streets of Hull and seek out this oasis.
