Sadly, I felt let down for the second time in two months. The first time the chef was sent home ill, so we were waiting almost an hour for food. We gave it a second chance this week on the deal (1 manager and 1 waitress working) - but yet again, we were told after waiting for 25 minutes that the manager didn't think the food was 'up to scratch' so he'd asked the chef to re-do it. They would compensate us with free coffee. I was in my lunch hour and feeling quite hungry by then so suggested that perhaps some bread and olives would be more appropriate. Our food did arrive 5 mins later (seafood risotto) and pizza - but I felt the risotto wasn't quite cooked properly. NOT SURE I'LL BE BOTHERING WITH STRADA AGAIN - offer or not! Think they may be suffering from Carluccio's opening next door!
