Situated in the heart of Cookridge, Gusto has a heated terrace, a 200-year-old olive tree elegantly draped with sparkling fairy lights and a welcoming atmosphere complemented by the aromas of a wood-burning oven. Expect friendly service with a menu focused on freshly prepared classic and contemporary Italian dishes including an excellent range of pizza, pasta, seafood and meats. Choose from a la carte, lunch, childrens and set menus as well as vegetarian options. The main menu changes twice annually. The bustling bar features a huge list of cocktails and runs 2-4-1 cocktails 5pm-7pm every night of the week! Groups are welcome too – ask for the large ‘Con Amici’ table. Gusto is open right through from noon until midnight seven days a week.

Me, my husband and three young children dined here last night 8/6/2012. The staff were friendly and couldnt do enough for us, service was fast considering how busy it was.Food was best we have ever tasted.I would recommend this place again and again.Perfect for families,couples etc thanks guys!!!! Angel-Kelly I recently visited Gusto in Cookridge with a few friends and was very impressed. A warm welcome, friendly, competent staff and a great atmosphere. We sat under the olive tree in the centre of the restaurant and were able to watch the pizza chef at work. Our pizzas and steaks were delicious, as were the cocktails we ordered from the bar. We all had a very enjoyable evening and have been recommending Gusto to our friends ever since! Benking Came her in a party of eleven, which might explain why the service was as slow as it was - it took half an hour to get seated (with a reservation) and each course took a very long time. That said, the food was well worth the wait. My caprese salad and pancetta-wrapped partridge on blue cheese risotto were delicious, while my friends raved about the fish dishes and one stated the pizza was as good as those she had had in Italy. Will be returning, but in a smaller group! Browneyedgirl We went to this restaurant for valentine's day and we were not disappointed. The decor is gorgeous, staff are so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We sat downstairs which is dominated by a beautiful tree covered in fairy lights. There is an outside eating area which i imagine is lovely in summer, we certainly plan to return! Along with the main menu there is also a healthy eating option which notes the calorie value, fat content etc - for us ladies it makes a nice change to be able to eat out but know you are still eating sensibly! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially for a special occasion. Roo Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Definitely be back soon!! Sarah
