Milo’s (Leeds) seemed pretty slack when I went, and was reasonable clean. Lower tables, down 10cm, would improve comfort. With a minimalistic menu, I expected food perfection. The starter was fine, but possibly with fine grit. Having been previously assured that other than rare was for the asking, I asked for medium to well done for the main beef course. It was a good portion, and to be fair most came rare to medium, but about a quarter went back as slops – don’t chew, just swallow? Do they use microwave reheat meals? My wife’s glass of wine was neither exceptional, nor generous, nor cheap. The end cups of tea came with tea bags in mugs – different. There are some dives I would prefer.
