Chocolate and cream leather combine with rich purple and mauve fabrics to bring a warm and inviting feel to this city centre gem. Head chef Bryn Evans is dedicated to the seasonality of ingredients, serving exciting, creative flavours in his menus using the finest local and regional produce. Intimate booths; private dining areas; a relaxed atmosphere and friendly, efficient service all come together to make Obsidian restaurant the perfect choice for that romantic meal, business lunch or dinner with friends. In addition to the four seasonal menus carefully crafted by Bryn to make the most of what nature has to offer there is a fantastic cheese menu featuring a large selection of some of the best British and French cheeses. Obsidian’s subterranean 50-foot frosted glass bar has become famous for serving quality drinks and cocktails in the heart of Manchester. Sumptuous booths and relaxed leather seating rest on a sparkling black granite floor and are complemented by the subtle lighting to create a stylish, luxurious atmosphere. Food is served daily until 10.30pm and the bar stays open til midnight on weekdays and 2am at weekends.
