This is a great restaurant as long as you are deaf. The music is so loud that you have to shout to your fellow diners.
Food and service are wonderful, value for money OK but don't expect to be able to have any kind of conversation unless you can text your companions (at the same table!) on a mobile. We've tried telling them before, and it makes no difference - that's why we don't go every week.
S From Sale
Far better places to eat in Sale than OCA, maybe it was just a bad night for service given the otherwise glowing reviews. Waited ages to have plates cleared, press the buzzer system was garbage enough that just asked waitress to get drinks, which then sat in sight on bar for several minutes to tease use, nearly to point of walking over and getting them myself . Manager looked palpably disturbed at level of service and looked like was making sure it rolled downhill. Food was decent but seemed to have been sat around waiting to come out, maybe keeping the drinks company. Just average for price but due to overall experience wouldn't rush back given the quality elsewhere within 2 minutes walk.

The only restaurant in Sale that can burn pasta!! Was really disappointed with the food quality. Lovely location/interior of the restaurant but the food/service was very poor. Pasta and meatballs burnt sent it back then brought back again not sure if it was the same meal but still very burnt. Would not be rushing back i would have preferred a microwave meal!

i went here last week as the first visit had been good, last week however , was my last visit, myself and my father had seafood lasagna , advertised as "king prawns, smoked haddock and queen scallops" , neither of us had any scallops at all and the meal was surprisingly average, we mentioned this to the manager , and although she was helpful and courteous and did only charge for one , i had to bite my tongue when she explained that pasta dishes weren't made on site as they didn't have "facilities" !! pasta dishes are made elsewhere and brought in by road!! I'm sure a purpose built restaurant would have an oven!! you may think?? , also , how do those chefs feel , in a restaurant that warms up shipped in food!! stretching their skills i don't think . in short i was bitterly disappointed and feel i should tell diners that £8.95 , buys a warmed up shipped in pasta dish, whatever the dish may be, all pasta is prepared offsite!!

Food OK and prices OK, it's just a Pizza and Pasta bar marketed into a restaurant but that's fine if that's what you want.
BUT - the design of the main room makes this the noisiest restaurant I've ever been in !

very disappointed in oca. Pizza express beats oca any day. if you want good food and service go to pizza express.
The Fine Diner
very attentive staff from the moment you walk in the door. the setting is wonderful and the regulars all seem very civilised. i could not fault the food - there are lots of them to choose from and the quality is very good. my only quibble is that the outside area is a little like an obstacle course!

I have been a regular at OCA for the past couple of months and it would be fair to say that OCA makes the best pizzas ever!!! The variety is expansive and at very reasonable prices. The desserts are also lovely, especially the cheesecake. The decor is very stylish and modern with an ambience to match.
