I frequent this wonderful place often with 4-8 friends each time. The welcome by Management and staff is second to none, the food and wine are so, so reasonably priced and excellent quality - the cocktails are to die for and to sit outside in the sunshine - be it in the back or front of the restaurant - makes all the difference. I love Yang Sing but Lotus is so much more intimate, friendly and welcoming!
THANK YOU ALL - DON'T GET TIRED OF ME as I frequent you often !!!!!

Try the dim sum menu; the curry battered squid (£3 for a big plateful) is great value, as are many of the other dishes. If only the roof terrace was generally open instead of being reserved for parties over twenty! Tables outside front and back is a small consolation I suppose! I like this place.

i have an msg allergy and my husband had called in advance. the manager had gone to great lengths to find out which dishes had msg in and had circled them on a menu for me - unfortunately this meant there wasn't much i could eat. the staff were attentive but the table location was awful - at the bottom of the stairwell, by the bar - it was too noisey to hear my husband speak!
Lotus Bar and Dim Sum
Very stylish and contemporary but still feels very warm and welcoming. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The Dim Sum are fantastic - can definitely tell it's Yang Sing owned. The price is a bargain - only £6 for a lunch in a box! The cocktails aren't bad either.
