Just came back from the chef peking. The food was nothing to write home about, in fact it wasn't nice at all,the chicken is pumped full of water, very jelly like and cheap, the only decent thing was the chips! yes the chips!.I felt we were being rushed and i wasn't impressed with the service, especially the older waitress, she really couldn't care less. To top it all off i was charger £1.75 for a jug of tap water, unbelievable, that didn't even have any ice or lemon in it. We go to different restaurants each week and i have never ever been charged for a jug of TAP water, i was absolutely disgusted.My advice if you want good food, good service and NOT get ripped off keep away from the chef peking in urmston.

Wonderful food, wonderful staff and wonderful choice. And you have got to try the 'Number A' banquet! Or any of the others.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 10yrs and have never once been disappointed. I have been to a number in Manchester and can honestly say I always prefer to return to Chef Peking. Decor could do with an update but the food is great!
