Nice looking restaurant...great location by the river.
We pick up the menus and start to read. You have to read them, not glance at them. They're pretty complicated. They have, annoyingly, not highlighted which items are suitable for vegetarians. Which makes the menu difficult to navigate. They sneak meat into a lot of things you might not always expect, Pumpkin and butternut squash risotto?? spinach and avocado salad?? Both not suitable for veggies. the use of Italian words on the menu also makes in hard for non-foodies to work out exactly what a dish contains.
But when the carefully selected food does arrive, we all thoroughly enjoy both the starters and mains. The deserts while nice, were nothing special and overpriced for what they are.
Ended up spending about £35 per head, which is about average for Manchester City Centre. Did I enjoy the meal - Yes. would i rush to go back? - No

Extremely impressed with the Strada concept. For a big chain the food was very good indeed. The price was reasonable and the service very attentive. The ambience is funky and contemporary without being cold and unwelcoming. This will now be my chain of choice.

It was our first time eating at Strada, myself, husband and 2 children. I cannot fault anything about Strada. The venue, the staff and the food was amazing. This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten and would definitely recommend Strada to all my family and friends.
