We went to Arian last night to celebrate Mother's day, what fantastic food we had too! The starters we choose were a mix of hot and cold ones ;houmous, falafel, stuffed pepper and kofteh. The were all delicious. Our main courses were mainly from the grill, lamb fillet and minced lamb kebab which were both tender and full of flavour, chicken kebab, the House mixed grill which consisted of a lamb chop, chicken kebab and minced lamb kebab and a lamb stew with okra(bamieh) they were all seved with rice and salad. Two of the party shared a sweet which was a homemade lemon cheesecake and also on offer was persian icecream and pastries. We took our own wine and the service and atmosphere were smashing. Would definitely recommend every one to go and we will all be returning again very soon. Very reasonable prices too.

Arian was absolutely fantastic - my boyfriend and I went on a Friday night when there was a big (around 16) group enjoying birthday celebrations in the restaurant at the same time. At first I was worried that this might affect the quality of service as their order was taken shortly before ours, however I needn't have worried as our starters came out quickly and there was a reasonable wait for our mains - which were the real stars of the night. My boyfriend's lamb shank was deliciously tender, the meat fell off the bone. My lamb dish was equally good and the starters very tasty. The lack of a license meant we could enjoy a delicious bottle of wine (picked up at oddbins on the way) without paying the restaurant mark-up. Service was first class - really friendly and attentive without being at all overbearing. We will definitely be going back - and urge anyone to give it a try. Great value for money too.

My wife, son & myself ate at the Arian, Persian restaurant recently, the food was ok, but not as good as Turkish Delight, just down the road.
£1.50 each for a Coke 7 Fanta! 10% for corkage! That is £3.50 for them to let me use one wine glass! a bit cheeky, I will not be going back. Turkish delight here I come again

It was the best Iranian food I had outside Iran. It was great.
Great food. Great price and very nice staff.
Everyone that I know love the food. I will go back for sure.

Having never eaten Iranian food before, I would go back to Arian tomorrow and regularly after that. It offers genuine, traditional Iranian food prepared from scratch in a friendly, yet sophisticated atmosphere. I experienced a wealth of new flavours, which I would struggle to get bored of, for a fantastic price.
A restaurant that absolutely must be visited.

The best restaurant in a long time; super tasty food, lovely staff ... an all-around brilliant experience; I went with 20 friends for a birthday meal and they catered for everyone perfectly;

A truly classy restaurant has beautiful decor. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. All the food is nice but i would recommend the chicken - i forget what it is called ...but it has almonds and stuff. The saffron rice is yummy yummy!!! I went with my friend and we had a great time and really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is clean and hygienic. The service is very good. It would be nice to have a wider range of deserts though. Have been back there cos we like it. Nice place to take your partner for something upmarket without the up market price.

I'm vegetarian and was really impressed by the choice and quality of the dishes. There's loads of delicious options, and the chef catered something especially for me when I said I didn't eat meat.
Try the non-alcoholic beer, it's really nice!

A great place to eat - friendly service and the food is really fresh and flavoursome, with some exquisite dishes such as pomegranate chicken and some well-known standards like houmus (they do some awesome entrées!).
Great also just to tootle down and sample some of the delicious pistachio ice-cream or sit sipping a mint tea with your baclava while watching the world go by...
...can't wait for the patio!!

We have been here twice now and it really is a wonderful additional to Chorlton.
The Persian food is beautifully fresh and tasty, with great options for both vegetarians and meat eaters.
The service is nice and friendly without being overbearingly intrusive.
The bring-your-own drink option is also great for those watching the pennies, and with Carringtons off licence (and the Co-op) nearby you won't run out!
