The service is impeccable and it's just a lovely atmosphere. It is understandable why they have been successful for so long. We last visited on Saturday and I want to try and get another visit in before Christmas because of how good the food was!

The Red Lion – CoventryAt least 45 minutes to get a drink. Tried to order a bottle of white or rose wine but only one of four choices was available. They didn’t tell us that only coming back each time to say sorry what you ordered is not available! We ended with gin & tonic. Restaurant was boiling hot. Over half of the starters were English rather than Asian & not very hot or tasty. The main courses were very tasty but lacking in choice - no chow mein or chop suey for example. Bottle of wine on bill as well as gin as well to as the gin & tonic.

Our minor complaint was that, having ordered our drinks, they still weren't brought to us after 10 minutes and we had to remind the waitress.
