Want to experience a different range of Chinese dishes? BBQ Village has a very extensive menu, including many vegetarian and vegan dishes that you will be unlikely to come across elsewhere. It’s also incredibly reasonably priced - a large range of starters on sticks for £1. I think there was only one vegan dish although that was delicious - spicy potato slices - 3 good sized slices coated with cumin seeds and chilli, barbecued till crisp on the outside - really unusual and very tasty. For my main course I had one of the best tofu dishes I’ve ever had in a Chinese restaurant - I believe it was called sizzling bean curd with peppers - they didn’t have any takeaway leaflets so I can’t verify the names. I had a shredded potato dish instead of rice, and one of the several Chinese greens dishes; my favourite ong choi. I could have returned to this restaurant five or six times and had different dishes each day. Because I arrived quite late and had an early start the next day, I didn’t really check the meat or fish dishes but the restaurant was quite full - 80% Chinese customers - and most had ordered non-vegetarian dishes. With over 100 to choose from, there’d be something for everyone. I didn’t have the time to check how ethical the non-vegetarian dishes were. Cost - for three very large servings, plus starter, plus 2 drinks - £26. I dined off what I took away for 2 days! £30 would buy enough food and drink for 2 people. Service - very friendly and helpful staff (checked with chef to ensure my choices were vegan). Recommendation - make an evening of it and book to see an art film at the Electric - the oldest working cinema a few doors away at No 49, and finish the evening off by ordering a selection of different dishes from your norm at the BBQ Village at No 55.

We ate at The Loft Lounge last week and were amazed by the personal service that was given to us and how tasty the food was! It was great to discover that the food is sourced locally from a farm.

They have currently started selling homemade chicken curry which is to die for. Every Friday me and my partner have chicken curry from Bournville Fish Bar. 100% recommended

We ate at Cielo one evening after work with our Director. We all ordered different dishes and they all arrived cooked to perfection. The staff were really pleasant and although we arrived without a booking and the restaurant was really busy, they didn't make a fuss and within a few minutes they had made room for us and made us feel really welcome. They really take time and care over their food and service and you can tell they take great pride in their restaurant. I would definitely eat there again, time and time again.

A fantastic restaurant, the service was outstanding. Food was first class and excellent value for money; I enjoyed the Kaleji Bookey, a traditional Punjabi dish. The decor was fab giving the place a warm and welcoming interior.

This place is wonderful. Book in advance as its often fully booked much to our disappointment. We go around once a month and considering I get bored very easily and love variety, this is a real compliment. I have King Prawn Holy Basil which is so delicious and also quite healthy with lots of fresh greens and big juicy, well cleaned prawns. My partner alternates between Yellow curry (which I pinch a bit of to go on my rice as it ever so tasty) and a Noodle Stir Fry. Prices are exceedingly reasonable for food and alcohol. Try Sabai - a sparkling wine spritzer.

i went there last saturday 4th June, i am Indian and this is the worst Indian meal i have ever had. the service was slow, waiters disinterested, and the food, was terrible. to cap it all, most of the waiters had terrible body odour. this place deserves to close, however, the mainly white customers obviously don't know what a good curry is and are happy to eat this rubbish.

Excellent Indian cuisine, they also serve English dishes. But Once youve sampled their Curry you wont want to even look at the English menu. Great Service good beer and above all great food.

The worst experience ever. I ordered a takeaway and paid for it when I came home to consume it the dish was different to the one I ordered and they put too much chemicals and red colours which obviously are not only bad but are forbiddedn in this country. Do not go there ever the food is below average and very expensive might as well open a can of beans and make a toast.

No gimmick just straight fresh authentic Indian , home made style food. Did not think much of it before trying the dish first time , as it looked pretty ordinary like any other, but proof was in the eating , the best...10/10 ...and wallah it was not only tasted super but also it was very reasonably priced. You only has to try in order to appreciate !!!
