My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful late lunch on Saturday. We both had the belly pork for our main and it was rely enjoyable. Desserts were bread pudding for my wife and lemon cheesecake for me bothered delicious.

Can not fault the food, service very friendly, drinks quite expensive

Very old charm pub, authentic all round . One member of staff polite and friendly, the other was happy to clean and then throw cutlery into draw very loudly whilst we dined close by…VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Food was served quickly but was below par.. Chewy prawns in hot oil and limp salad, tough beef in the tagine but sauce was tasty, Korean chicken nice but not much meat and was ‘wings’. Pricing wasn’t bad but I’d rather pay more and have better food. Seating was too high for tables , felt like you were sitting over the table not at it.

Always our favourite place to eat when we are visiting family in the area. Visited on Friday and had a great meal in relaxed surroundings. The Mussels are highly recommended.

4 adults for late Sunday lunch. All good & even got my musbands beef just right ‘pink’. Side green vegetables dish was lovely. You are aleays made welcome & staff are so friendky but remain very professional. We will return!

We visited The Vine on Thursday evening . We had the most truly scrumptious meal . It was a party of four guests and we all ordered different meals . Each meal looked amazing . Excellent presentation! The food was piping hot and very flavoursome! Even the chef came over and had a chat to us ! The staff were extremely friendly . We will certainly be back ! We had a great night ! Well worth the visit.

Lovely, traditional pub serving well-cooked and good quality food. We were there taking our elderly Aunt for a trip down memory lane and it was delightful! We weren’t rushed and the waitress very kindly offered to take our group photo outside.

Been quite a few times. As always I find the staff friendly, helpful. Smiling and happy. The food is delicious. 8 of us went all having different meals. All of us enjoyed it and all plates were empty. Food is fresh, hot and plenty of it. I find the price a little expensive but that’s everywhere not just here. Will keep coming back here if the quality stays as good as it is and always recommend it to everyone .

Good, tasty, home made food at a reasonable price. Not bought in and microwaved. Old fashioned country pub with friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.

First class service, the lunchtime two course meal was so good. We will definitely be returning. A proper country pub & Simon the barman couldn’t do enough for us.

Went for Sunday lunch. Great service and food. Great atmosphere And staff were friendly and helpful. Sunday Roast was one of the best I have had in a restaurant with good quality food. Dessert was also good.

Our Sunday lunch was really lovely quality in all respects and was very timely served to all diners by obliging staff. Members of our party who chose Turkey for their main course were also impressed by its excellent quality. The main menu was also complimented by a good range of attractive deserts to suit most tastes and a good range of beers and wines.

Really good food, great service
