Really enjoyed my recent visit to the Red Lion in Corley Moor. Atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet and relaxed. Service was excellent, the servers were attentive, but I felt unhurried. I was with a friend on this occasion and we found the menu to be interesting and varied. Happy with the overall experience and would visit again.

Staff are lovely, food delicious with generous servings and prices (including drinks) reasonable. We both had the breaded mushrooms as a starter then a ribeye steak and a lasagna as mains which were beautifully presented.

The place was clean and the music quiet and pleasant. We ordered lamb biriyani and Himalayan chicken curry. They were served attractively and tasted very good! The desserts were excellent as well! We truly recommend Malai. We will be back again with our friends!

I had King Prawns in garlic to start, and they were more like shrimps than king prawns, and I thought it was a little greasy. The main courses were on the small side; my cajan chicken with pasta tasted nothing like the one I'd had a few weeks ago and, frankly, was bland. My wife didn't enjoy her roast dinner, saying that the vegetables were cold and the frozen roast potatoes were hard.
