This restaurant is the most fabulous restaurant ever, price is excellent and the food!!! where do i start.. the food is in a world of its own, from the king prawn jalfrezi to the meat bhuna to the fresh crispy poppadoms, just fabulous, SERVICE A++++

My husband took me to Plaza for the first time and the food was beautiful. Bill was reasonable the only problem i found was that the main meal was given too quick after the starter and as it felt that we were being rushed may be as it was a Friday night but no excuse for it.

I have been going to the moonlight with my wife, friends and family for over three years now and ever time is special , the food is excellent and the service is quick and the staff attend to your table and guests like your the only people in the place. The staff take time to explain the dishes and when the food comes it is always tasty and the portions are perfect there is never not enough. I have had a large table of guests with me for a birthday once and it was one of the best times. The beers and wines are great too and best of all the price is wonderful you get more than your moneys worth We are going for a party there this Friday and i know it will be good and that's with another ten plus .

i must say that once you are inside a weary drowsiness hits you head on.but no matter because the food will certainly wake you up. after your tongue tastes the first bite, all your dreams foods will be shoved one place down the list and number one will be replaced by shiraz. the food is of high quality. not to mention heavenly and also not to dear.

Fabulous choice of foods. Chicken Tikka starter is wonderful. Select your own ingredients for the Wok (Mongolian style) plus excellent Indian and Chinese and a great selection of Indian street foods, salads etc. Good sweet selection. Overall price is a little high and beware buying bottled lager, go for the draught as Kingfisher bottled is over £5 a pint!.

i will say if you eat everyday in this chippy, you wont say stop.... the best of the best fish & chips, and kebabs, wow kwl, they got lots of choice for you in chillis like hot, medium, mild sweet, ketchup, bar b q, mayonnaise, garlic mayonnaise, mint sauce, mint yougart, piri piri sauce, and lots more... the are the best...

Purnell's is a chic, contemporary fine-dining restaurant located in one of Birmingham city centre's finest conservation areas, close to Colmore Row and St Phillips Cathedral. Set up by Michelin starred Birmingham chef, Glynn Purnell in July 2007, the 45 cover restaurant occupies a Victorian redbrick and terracotta corner building, with large windows on both sides providing plenty of natural light during the day. Great food and service this is 5 star food at good prices

I visited last night for my Birthday. Slightly disappointed to be honest. Flashes of well made food including a nice risotto which my partner had, but the menu lacked anything that jumped out at me. Very much a hotel restaurant lacking in any flair. My main course was dreadful. Excellent wine list and knowledgeable Sommelier. Overall service wasn't great, our waiter was moody and rude at times. Consider this place with caution, there are better restaurants in this price range.

You get what you pay for cheap food at cheap prices nice place to spend a few hours

I ate at Lahore in Balti Triangle on Mother's Day. It was a terrible experience. Terrible food, stale meat on our mixed grill, VERY sarcastic waiter who kept ridiculing everything we said, ignored us when we wanted to correct our order and over-charged us on the bill. They kept thinking we were trying to get money off the bill when we complained which we couldn't care less about, we just wanted a nice night out with the family. This was not the case here

just been to the black boy had a great meal. the surroundings were fantastic as i drove down the long drive on one side i was greeted by 3 beautiful horses grazing in the february sunshine on the other side were daffodils in full bloom this together with excellent food and service with real value for money what more could you want. i will definitely be back.

We visited Ulysses on Friday 22 February for the first time. They had an Elvis night, it was absolutely fantastic!!!!, we will definitely back for the next one in June. The food was lovely i had King Prawns with a garlic white wine sauce and kleftico to follow, the meat just fell of the bone it was so tender and delicious. We complimented our meal with a bottle of greek organic wine from the owners home town Tripolis in Greece, we had a lot of choices from there extensive wine list. The restaurant was beautiful inside, very authentic, Greek statues, amazing bar!! it was out of this world!! The service was good the staff polite and very professional. We will definitely be back, for a night out or even a party, as there is something for everyone, weekend they have live Greek music , Greek dancing and belly dancing. We will definitely be recommending this Greek restaurant to all our friends. Why don't you try , you wont be disappointed!!

This was a great place to eat out, The service was second to none and the staff were very helpful. The food - well I only had ramen but that was awesome! It was easy to find as we were told by the sushi bar in selfridges that they did ramen which was what I was looking for.

the service was not good at all. there was a group of 20. waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for starters and then a further 1 hour for our main course. the bill arrived in three parts the two first arrived with the drinks and main meals and then half and hour later a separate bill for the rotis and nan breads. the service was absolutely diet and will not recommend this place to no one. furthermore once we complained to the manager she was so rude and insulting. will not ever attend this restaurant again.. even her employees were sick and tired of her and walked out at the end of her shift..

We arrived to find Shanahans is in the middle of an industrial estate, however for the price we'd been quoted we still went on inside. Once inside there was people smoking inside (which I believe to be illegal) we were then told to grab a drink whilst we were checked in. 5 minutes later we were told as there were "only 10 of us they had let our rooms to a group of 25 because it would make them more money" honest but shocking as we had booked months earlier. Fortunately we found a travel lodge nearby which was only £65 for a three bed room and very clean and hospitable. My advice would be if you want an unclean badly located place to stay don't book in advance but try Shanahans.
