A fantastic restaurant for lunch or dinner. Great ambiance, menu, service & value. Can’t wait to go back. Definitely book ahead, don’t chance just turning up.

This was our second visit. My wife and I both chose the Olive mezze this time - it was fabulous - so many different tastes and textures - the chefs definitely know what they're doing. Service is great too - not an inexpensive lunch but well worth the prices charged. This is one of our favourite places to eat (but they do need to turn the heating up a bit :))

What an absolute gem of a place! The best vegetarian food I’ve had in ages. A really interesting menu; full luscious flavours and generous portions. Proper vege cooking by someone who knows their stuff - hurrah! Friendly atmosphere, warm and cosy by the log fire and knowledgeable advice on food choices. You can walk off your lunch with an interesting walk around the animal sanctuary taking in fabulous views over the Somerset countryside. I highly recommend Perdida - we'll definitely be going again!

I booked afternoon tea with my mum and nan this afternoon at a cost of £20 per head. Booking was easy on line, but the service and food was disappointing. The Scones were tiny and some stale. The panacota looked lovely but far too sweet, so could not finish. We had a pot of tea and when I asked for some more hot water I received a tiny amount for less than one... We were only asked if we wanted anything else at the end of the visit, some hours later. Such a shame..

Hi, we had a great meal in a lovely atmosphere, the staff were great working hard but unfortunately it was very busy. The wait for food was ok but the 40min wait for our drinks was a bit excessive.

In Wells for carnival weekend and really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was delicious, my husband went full vegan, I had the chicken we were both pleased with our choices. Great atmosphere, staff delightful and food was great.

The Olive Kitchen has a lovely location and atmosphere. Be prepared to Google a few culinary terms, but I think the vegetarian wrap I had was probably the best I've ever eaten, and the accompanying salad pitched just right. I wish we'd had the space and time for cake. They looked amazing..

We love going to Olive Kitchen and Bar. I have lots of food allergies and I always find something lovely to eat, including cake!!!

A great time was had painting our Vase and Bowl choices! So many options when it comes to choosing an item to paint/decorate. We enjoyed a hot drink whilst getting creative in a lovely atmosphere at The Kiln. Will go again

The food and service always excellent here. LOVE the fresh mussels from Brixham - good idea to pre-order as they go quickly.

Our Friday lunch of soup and fish and chips was excellent. Lovely friendly service, looking forward to eating there again.

Lovely coffee here. Great menu and my salad poke bowl with chicken was yummy.

The best meal I have had in a long time. Tremendous flat iron steak and spiced pumpkin soup. First class selection of wines by the glass too.

Not the best day to attend Wells market given the rain/cold but thankfully we found our new favourite restaurant! We pre-booked a table (by the front window), and the food was perfect for a rainy day. My wife and I both had the beef bourguignon, full of meat and flavour followed by wonderful desserts from the two course lunch menu Good service and great value. We’ll be back!

Absolutely love this place. Food is great. Service is friendly, prompt and attentive but not in your face. Lovely and cosy when the fire is lit. Highly recommend.
