I admit to not having to McC's for a while, but was a regular from day one. No one has written, so..... as I am assured that quality has not changed since I left (Northern Cyprus, via Australia), I had to say it was the BEST place in town AND smoke free! Very important to us health conscious folk. Long live Micawbers!

Gorgeous food and very helpful staff. Attention to detail is very much the name of the game here. The lunchtime special is incredibly good value as well.

Excellent choice of Med food on the menu, just like dining in the Greek Islands, the only thing missing was the warm weather, but the atmosphere inside was perfect, will recommend this restaurant again and again.

A little dearer than most pubs - but well worth it! Pauline the head cook works wonders & you should book!! Very extensive menu, child friendly and nothing too much trouble if you are a fussy eater (like me!).. This place is busier than most city restaurants and understandably so - fab food, hot, tasty and all home cooked - yummy :)

For that special occasion, HduV cannot be beaten. As a qualified French gourmet chef, this is what I was taught to cook - and here they do in very, very well - in traditional Victoriana surroundings. Impeccable silver service and how nice to see properly trained waiters crumbing-down between courses!! Just remember to pay the mortgage BEFORE you eat here - it 'aint cheep!!

Tried this place as it was recommended by another restaurant which was fully booked at the time. Boy was I surprised & impressed.. This is what you call a proper "Gastro-Pub". Sunday lunch was a taste explosion, traditional fayre presented pre-plated like it was coming out of a 5* Hotel!! Restaurant a bit "posh" I would recommend the bar for a more relaxed experience. Great place and well worth a visit.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, no pressure. Food was great. Will definitely go back next time we are in Weston.

Arrived at lunchtime. Restaurant was quite busy, but this was an out of tourist season visit. Welcome on entering door was very good, warm and friendly. Service was good. Food was very good.

Superb food, excellent service. This really is as close as you will get to Italy without leaving these shores. The prices are high, but I would say it is definitely worth it. 9/10

A great little restaurant on Moorland Road! This is a BYO curry house which is conveniently just a short walk from the local Threshers which really keeps the cost down. The chefs are very adaptable and often make dishes that are not on the menu. Go to Panahar and have a great meal.

Amazing food, huge portions and a relaxed atmosphere. Dinner is always good value because you can share everything!

Nice pub, good staff (except Kev and Scouse), beer out standing, has a great feel about the place and is very welcoming. The food is outstanding and the new manager and his team have really turned it in to a very special place. P.S they have really great cleaners

Fantastic to stumble across such a gem! Really great food (really, really) and for just over a tenner, I was stuffed and couldn't finish it. Highly recommended to everyone, even sushi virgins.
