We had a wonderful meal at The Olive Tree. Food was outstanding a very high level of cuisine, we both enjoyed a pre starter shared then a starter and main course, everything was super tasty. I only marked the service down as our waitress was abrupt but not in a rude way, just in a that’s the way she is way

The food was absolutely delicious, we were all extremely happy, and I was able to have the dish I wanted with a slight adaptation to meet my allergy needs (gluten and dairy). The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsFirst visit involved excellent coffee and investigation of the accessibility of a new place. Accessibility is good though I'm not sure how easy the toilet is to get to for anyone using a wheel chair. Entrance is good with a non slippery slope. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Second visit was to sample food, and that was highly satisfactory. The meze for two almost beat us but it was a wonderful mixture of taste and visual delight. Lots of variety on the platter, it was delicious. I need to go back to try some of the other meals that others were enjoying.

As a non-meat eater, plenty of veg and fish choices. Service prompt and non-intrusive. We were given time to enjoy our meal. This restaurant will always be my first choice when i am in Wells.

The ambience is really lovely, with comfortable seats bright and yet cosy atmosphere with a lovely outlook.
