Warm and welcoming restaurant (even though we arrived very early for our reservation). Excellent Christmas/December menu offering Festive choices or seasonal choices depending on your preference. We shared a baked camembert for starter (which was plenty for two) with steak and the risotto for main courses both of which were excellent and generous portions. Shared a chocolate bomb for pudding which, again, was plenty for two. All the food was well cooked and delicious. Service was excellent and attentive without being too intrusive. Look forward to our next visit.

My wife and I with my daughter and son in law visited the olive tree on the 3rd December, the food was excellent I can honestly say that four us agreed, prices were pretty average but price of a glass of wine was a bit heavy. The waiter was very friendly,, will certainly dine there again when we next visit wells

This was our first visit to the new location. Excellence in everything has been transferred. It’s still our favourite restaurant.

My Christmas menu choices were a starter of fig and goat’s cheese tart, followed by roast turkey with all the trimmings. The starter was lovely, nice crisp pastry and sweet pieces of fig in soft cheese sauce. I could have eaten more of this. The turkey came with roast potatoes, carrot, parsnip, red cabbage, sprouts and a pig in a blanket. My only criticism is that the turkey was slightly chewy. Having dined here often when it was Goodfellows, I note that the decor has been upgraded somewhat, and the ambience was great, although cold as a result of few fellow diners at the time we were eating. Service was excellent.

We came across The Olive Tree on Market day in Wells and what a little gem this place is. We received a fantastic warm welcoming and we were lucky to get a table as it was pretty busy. The food was excellent and definitely value for money! The staff are so friendly and we really enjoyed our experience here. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Goodfellows @7b came recommended and we weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious and exceptionally well presented. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed whilst the service was attentive and professional. Very much look forward to a return visit.

How lucky we are in Wells to be able to enjoy Adam’s fabulous food in their stylish and comfortable new restaurant 7b, Thank you Adam and Martine. We’ll definitely back soon.

Had dinner with some friends on Friday evening. The food and service was excellent and good value for money. Will certainly be eating there again.

Have had three meals here - ranging from lunch for two to dinner for six. And it is consistently excellent - setting the standard for Wells and the local area. By this I mean an interesting sensible length menu that feels both local and seasonal, great looking dishes, fine flavours and at a reasonable price. I should add that the team is lovely and wine great [no particular reason why those two are together!]. Recommended - and suggest book in advance.

What an wonderful evening. Staff were so kind and attentive. Discussing sensatively how they would change menu options to cater to my food intolerances. Food was amazing everthing cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. There was a calm quiet atmosphere. The kitchen and chefs in full view of all the guests was spotlessly clean, appeared calm, quiet and wonderfully organised. Great value for money

Fantastic Meal, with Excellent Customer Service, 48 hours later I am still recalling how good it was. We were a little apprehensive beforehand as we had heard it was small portions and quite expensive, but I believe it was excellent value for money, and i have quite a large appetite

We had a wonderful birthday dinner at The Olive Tree, with a very unexpected free glass of Prosecco as a result, followed by a delicious 3-course meal. As good as GoodFellows' food, yet in a more stylish atmosphere with one of the warmest welcomes we've ever had and wonderful service thereafter. Can't recommend highly enough!

We enjoyed a really delicious lunch at The Olive Tree today. The service was excellent and Petra was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and hope the business continues to grow

Another wonderful evening at Goodfellows at 7B. Excellent food, excellent service, and still our favourite restaurant by far.
