Wonderful food and wine, best dinning experience, I would highly recommend and when in the area will look forward to visiting again 10 out of 10

A visit to Goodfellows is always a treat and tonight we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a tuna carpaccio starter and then main courses of both halibut and also a selection of fish all cooked to perfection, with divine sauces and vegetable selection. Attentive table service but not intrusive. We were pleased to have a courtyard table on this sunny evening. Incredible value and a shining culinary star in Wells and the South West. Can’t wait to come again.

We had dinner at Goodfellows on 6/8. A really enjoyable meal. We went with the fish options for starters and main course. I had the sea bass and my wife had the halibut, both of which were excellent. The puddings looked great, but we had room only for coffee! The service was friendly and professional. All-in-all, it was a very pleasant evening during our short stay in Wells.

Booked a table here for lunch as we were visiting Wells. Very pleased as the food was excellent at reasonable prices and the service was friendly and efficient.

We have visited Wishing Well Longwell Green for Xmas lunch and several carverys which we have always been v tasty and value for money. , the staff have always been courteous and accommodating, thankyou to you all x

Booked for lunch as they offered good fish options. I wasn’t expecting something this good. Best lunch ever with an Asian twist to both the crab starter and the mixed fish main. If we ever go back to Wells, we will be eating here. Fantastic.

Lovely meal for 5 of us, all choices voted excellent. Service perfect. No unnecessary frills and gimmicks. Fine food, wide enough choice and all cooked absolutely superbly. Best restaurant in Wells area by quite a long way. Not cheap, but excellent value for money.

NOT to be missed when in Wells! Best to book first as they are often busy and only open Weds, Friday and Saturday. Well done all! Market day menu excellent value. Mainly a seafood restaurant but look at the online menu.

Short menu but wonderful flavours across the set seafood menu. Excellentbfish cookery. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating with tweaks to the menu/dishes
