Lovely meal and atmosphere. As good now as it ever was.

The best meal I have had in a long time and at very reasonable prices. It is a shame we aren't local as we would be regulars. Very pleasant, attentive but unobtrusive staff, and well presented fabulous tasting food. It definitely was a Good Friday for us. A great experience from start to finish.

Outstanding dinner

Pre booking, arrival, and throughout the meal the service was excellent. The ambience good, busy but not too noisy. As far as the food was concerned, it was excellent. We love seafood and we were treated to lovely tasty and well presented food, by lovely staff.

We enjoyed lunch at Goodfellows.

Goodfellows is our favourite restaurant by far. Yet another amazing meal (the tasting menu). Excellent food and excellent service. A really great evening in every respect

Once again we had a fantastic three course lunch at Goodfellows .Having been there a number of times now i can honestly say each plate of food is delicious and also excellent service .

We have been visiting Goodfellows for many years. The food is always excellent and our recent visit was no exception. As always the fish was cooked to perfection and the pastries were as good to eat as they were to look at. We noticed on this occasion Mr Goodfellow was finding the time to bring some dishes to the table himself this is a lovely touch and much appreciated.

It can be difficult to find somewhere to eat that ticks all the boxes. Good fellows met our expectations and beyond on all counts. Thank you

Attentive service, and good quality food - fish nice and fresh and cooked in an interesting way.

Another beautifully cooked and imaginative fish meal. The fish was wonderfully fresh and all our choices tasted delicious. The desserts were also mouth-watering. Good value for money for an excellent meal.

A delicious expertly cooked dinner as always. A real treat and great place to celebrate in style. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Whilst staying in Wells we were recommended to eat at Goodfellows. This was definitely a great choice. We chose scallops and sea bream. The best we have eaten and the service and welcome was excellent. We would highly recommend Goodfellows.
