One of our favourite restaurants, Goodfellows never disappoints, food is glorious, wine reasonably priced and excellent service. Thoroughly recommended!

I expected more seafood selection in the menu, mostly were fish but, all good cooked, good quality and amazing decorated.

Our third visit to 'Goodfellows' in two months and we were not disappointed. The food is either good or very good and the service just right in our opinion. On this occasion we were sat opposite the cash desk and the atmosphere was not that great, but the four of us enjoyed the evening well enough. We like Goodfellows and we are likely to become regular customers having moved to the area recently.

Went on Saturday night for the first time after being recommended to us and it definitely did not disapoint Service and food were equally amazing will definitely be back

We had a very well presented and enjoyable dinner of scallops cooked to perfection with samphire and asparagus followed by a delicious dessert. Excellent service.

Easy to book a table on line. Friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and took our order promptly. The food was beautifully presented. The flavours were well balanced, fresh and delicious. Intimate ambiance which made the evening memorable. We will definitely return when we next visit Wells.

We are long standing customers at Goodfellows yet are always delighted by the delicious food. We always take visitors here and this weekend took friends from London. They were really impressed with the quality of food and 'just right' service. It's our favourite place to eat by far. Do try it....you'll have a wonderful time.

Completely marvellous – whole experience made it worth driving all the way to Wells. I go again just to eat there for lunch!
