Masala – LlanelliBelle @ Llanllwni This is an fantastic place to eat, the staff are absolutely great and are so friendly. As for the food the menu is always changing and evolving with the seasons. They really do have the best chefs here for miles! Well done to The Belle and keep up the high standards
Belle Vue Inn – LlanybydderI don't know where to start on the White Hart. I've visited a lot of establishments in my time, but I've never met such rude hosts in my life. It was absolutely disgusting. As for the food, the portions are average, but the food was cold. We had microwaved mushrooms on the very poor steak, and the chips weren't hand cut as stated on the menu, but were frozen and twice cooked. As for the beef dinner, the beef wasn't cut off a joint, but was uniform slices that had been processed. But overall, it's the attitude of the owners that really sticks in my throat (a bit like their food). VERY POOR.
White Hart Thatched Inn and Brewery, The – CarmarthenEat in the bar for the best atmosphere. Expect superior pub grub in choice, quality and service rather than a dining experience. But the food is good and the service friendly. The setting affords views in a peaceful rural location.

Hafodyrynys Inn – NewportVisited this venue for an evening meal as I had heard that it had just been voted runner up in the Swansea and Port Talbot Evening Post best Pub food competition. I can really see why this pub was voted so highly as the food was exceptional. The cost was £9.99 for two meals which included Welsh black steak, which was cooked on a barbecue grill, even though the price was £9.99 for two meals no corners were cut and we still had full plates which included fresh salad, onion rings, mushrooms and peas and real chips. The special board also looked very good and we were spoilt for choice. The menus which were placed on the table informed us that all the food is locally sourced and the fresh cream was exceptional. This is sourced from a farm locally which won the prestigious prise of being the best cream at Buith Wells show. Exceptional food which is priced very reasonable. Will have to return to try the other tempting meals such was Cymru Chicken, Steak in blue cheese sauce. Chicken in mushroom and garlic sauce. Excellent service, Excellent choice. will definitely return.
Ye Olde Wine House Inn – Bridgendfood and service first class, landlord ,professional, and courteous. well done to all
Ferry Man, The – NeathThis restaurant is over-priced and the chef is so high on crack he forgets to send orders out that are complete! The service is terrible and the staff are rude and lazy.
Market Place – CowbridgeBest chips I've tasted (apart from the ones my grandmother used to cook - in lard over an open fire). Portions rather small but taste is SUPERB. Chips are crisp and perfectly cooked.
Colins Fish Bar – BlackwoodAfter having lunch there last week which was great, i went back last night for the evening meal. It was lovely staff were friendly and able to recommend a meal for my partner to eat. Great atmosphere and food was delicious. My bill came to £58 which included two starters, two main courses, a bottle of house wine which were £11.50 each and a couple of shorts at the end of the evening.
