We went to this restaurant on a rare evening out thanks to a babysitting opportunity and it was well worth the visit. Staff were lovely but leave you alone enough not to feel crowded, menu varied and the meal fantastic. Wine very reasonably priced. I had passed this place often and hardly noticed it as it is very understated but is a real find. Strongly recommend it.

Well first of all i would like to pull up the staff on what they was wearing (jeans and T-Shirts) this is really unprofessional! i visited on a Sunday so had no choice but to have the carvery which wasn't really to my standards, the mash potato was lovely but the lamb and beef wasn't cooked very well, also the onions wasn't very tasty as they tasted of sugar and vinegar. However..... they have an old market place which i absolutely LOVE its brilliant and would definitely go there again but just not have anything to eat!

Been going to the Fox House for 18 years, it is definitely not as good as it once was, the prices have soared and the food is nowhere near as good. Had the steak and ale pie last night, the pastry was burnt on the outside and undercooked inside and the chips were actually grey in colour . Will not be returning...shame as we really used to enjoy our visits there.

Ordered four meals.two were requested with tomato sauce, and got tartare sauce, one ordered BLT with grilled tomatoes, got tomatoes but not grilled and I ordered beef with blue cheese, but got a cheese which was definitely was not blue, more like melted cheddar, hey ho!!

you wont post this as its negative but i think you should show good and bad feedback otherwise it will be seen that they never do anything wrong. we went to a festive do here 3 years ago. although we arrived early in minibuses,another group unrelated to us just coming on the same day were delayed so we all had to wait.45 minutes later it started to appear! the soup was very spicy yet no mention of this on menu just vegtable soup i am allergic to things like that(spicyness) didn't know otherwise i would've picked something else,i mean come on it was all old biddies they don't eat stuff like that most of the people on our table left theirs it was that 'hot'(in taste). i guess i am too fussy, but the mains were not very warm and the gravy non existent. someone messed up the puddings i especially on the booking form wrote ice cream only as i couldn't eat anything else due to food allergies the waiting staff were non to pleased to remove the wrong pudding. the music and entertainment was absolute rubbish a christmas cd on a loop i almost told cliff what he could do with his mistletoe and wine i heard it so many times. the singer told some god awful jokes that weren't funny just so so boring if people said they enjoyed that the god they must be easy to please. we were charged 17 for the privilege,what a rip off even charging 10 pounds for that is too steep. we have been asked if we would like to go this year no way! the organiser wouldn't let me complain on the night he doesn't know about this feedback i have better things to spend my money on and i believe it is almost 20 pounds now anyone who pays that must have money to burn.the night was extremely disappointment,the food was awful when it finally arrived,the music awful,the entertainment worse.i would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago on a week night. The restaurant was quiet as it was early, but i prefer it that way. The restaurant is decorated to a very high standard. The part of the kitchen i could see from my seat, it looked spotless ( im an ex chef so always try and spy in the kitchen!) The menu is huge, lots of variety and the majority of the curries had names i had never heard of each section of the menu tells a little story of where that particular curry originated from and how its cooked which i found very interesting. They did still have the usual Tikka, Bhuna, Korma for the less adventurous. We had 2 bottles of wine, poppadoms, 2 mains and 2 rice and the bill was about £60 so very good value for money in my opinion. I had one of the Chefs Specials, it was a Lamb dish but i cant recall the name as it was one i had not heard of before but it was delicious. It was fruity, spicy but not overpowering and the lamb just melted in my mouth. I plan to return very soon and would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

20 people came as a group tonight and had a very good time. Nice atmosphere and surroundings. They mainly had the carvery which looked good and they certainly enjoyed it. I had the feta cheese , beetroot and seed salad., which looked sad , limp and looked as if it had stood for some time, it had less than an average small size beetroot on and a very small amount of feta cheese. The waiter gave me another portion of the cheese and beetroot and then it was quite nice. If you are only a carvery then don't offer salad, because people do not wish to eat the meat does not mean they do not have a similar appetite to meat eaters. I would not bring vegetarian salad eating friends to the Woodside again.

We have recently visited the Bare and Barrel as the atmosphere is very good and the staff helpful.the pub is friendly and has a variety of drinks choice too. We definitely will be revisiting.

Just arrived home after a weekend in Marsden to visit my family. My stay at the New Inn was as good as I expected from Yorkshire folk, from the welcome to departure the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and cosy and the breakfast was excellent. Dinner there with the family was really good and the waiting staff could not have been more pleasant. They are a real asset to the team! A lovely experience which I am sure to repeat again soon and I will certainly recommend to all. Thank you everyone at the New Inn and keep up the good work! We ate at the River Fortune last Friday evening. The service was very friendly and the decor comfortable and smart. The food was absolutely delicious - we shared spring rolls and dim sum for starters and then shared a thai green curry and special massaman curry. All dishes were well cooked, nicely presented and full of flavour. We would highly recommend you try it!

A group of 6 of us went for a meal at Carmelos yesterday and we were very impressed. We had a range of starters and main courses from the menu and specials board and they were all excellent. The prices are very reasonable and the house wines were also very nice and a bargain at £11,99 a bottle. The decor, atmosphere and staff were all excellent too. We will definitely return again.

we were the only people in the restaurant so ambience was bad. wine - practically no choice, we had 2 different bottles, both horrid. Starters too small for cost. main meal too expensive for what they are. one of us ordered chicken with carrots onions and olives. there were 46 olives on the plate!!! will not be returning

Have eaten in many Indian restaurants up and down the country and was extremely impressed with Ashiqs. the quality of the curries was outstanding, we had the buffet which was by far the best buffet I have ever had. The decor, ambience and service were all first class, can't wait to return.

dated visited bibis 16/11/2011first impressions very grand and light eating place, we was shown to table and waiter asked if we would like a drink we asked for few minutes to study wine list , £6.80 for 250ml of white house wine little bit pricey . But then you are paying for surroundings . The waiter came to take our order seemed a little bit in a rush and i asked what a couple of the dishes were he seemed very unhelpful , still not to let it spoil our meal we ordered from a bit over priced menu ..... The food arrived FROM NOT SO FRIENDLY STAFF to be fair my chicken in mushroom sauce was OK not too bad lacking a little seasoning . My friends dish came it was meant to be chicken with mustard and mayo dressing it was tasteless and tasted like mayo dressing only ......on what most of it she left a different waitress claim to clear plates on clearing plates she asked if everything was ok to witch my friend answered no it was taste less and just like mayo dressing no mustard and very bland and she was every disappointed .NO SORRY GIVEN PLATES JUST TAKEN AWAY WITH NO WORDS ...HOW RUDE .... we then asked for bill and were told we need to pay near door on paying bill £5.70 10 service charged had been added . not very good service really ...WOULD NOT VIST AGAIN STAFF UN HELPFULL AND FOOD NOT GOOD ..........

The Bharat is a family run restaurant and is simply the best Indian curry in Bradford. The restaurant is cosy with a well stocked bar, the waiters are very attentive without being in your face. If your not sure what something tastes like, ask, and they will make you a portion to try. Now that's service. Go and try, you will not be disappointed.
