Saffron Desi – MorleyStayed at this wonderful unique hotel for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. The room was stunning and the food was to die for. Good things ahead for this place i'm sure of it. We will be back whenever in the area in the future. Try anything off the main menu, it was all delicious, Highly recommended!
Black Horse Inn at Clifton – BrighouseThis restaurant is a gem, very nicely decorated and in lovely surroundings. I have been a few times now and have recommended it to friends and family. The food is wonderful and good value for money and the staff very courteous and helpful.

The Old Canteen – HuddersfieldMe and my wife been to prashad in Bradford yesterday.And let me tell you this that I am a big time MEAT eater,so I wasn't that keen to go there because its a vegetarian resturant...But i was totally wrong,and now I can say that it was one of the best meal I ever had in my life.To begin with, they had a very warm welcoming staff,starters were amazing,chana chat was delecious,and stuffed chilli was out of this world.Presentation,texture,service and taste was phenominal.The main course,well,I won't even say any thing,it was out of this world.And than came the final part.BOBBY,the owner of the resturant,a lovely guy,he asked us himself if we were enjoying our meal,he gave us this complimentary dessert which was lovely,but bobby was so nice,and comfortable guy to talk to,that for a second we forgot that we were in a resturant not a home.His hospitality was out class.In short a great great great food and people.Well recommended.
Prashad – BradfordHaving eaten here twice in 1 week, I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Martin looks after his cutomers with a level of service that is second to none and Joel's food is just delicious. Wine tasting here is a great experience and the menu is excellent, offering the best carefully sourced ingredients with a heavy German influence. Intimate, friendly, and special. Please go and try it for yourselves.
Behind The Town Hall – Leeds City CentreRecently visited the Bar 166. Nice , friendly atmosphere. Nice surroundings. Food really nice. I had moules and they were presented just like when I was in France! Staff really approachable and i will totally go again.
Bar 166 and Bistro – HorsforthTried this for the first time last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The service was fast, the drinks were bottomless, the mango and lime chicken pitta was delicious and the garlic bread was wonderfully crunchy. Definitely will come again.
Nando’s – SheffieldWarm welcome and excellent food all served here. Far and away the best curry in Leeds!! The kofta special, king prawn madras and mixed chicken chutney are all excellent. This is one place you MUST go if you love curry and live anywhere in or around Leeds. Azram is a real star too!!

We both had a chicken main and the food was a huge disappointment, both came undercooked and the veg was cold and the potatoes were black. When we complained we were made to feel so uncomfortable we just paid and left. I would not recommend this to anyone. Very expensive for low standard food

That wasn't bad but other than that it was appalling.Roast Potatoes - floppy rubbery not a bit of substance Cabbage - heavily coated in black pepper Peas and Sweetcorn - not to bad but again coated in pepper. But cheapest they could findCarrots - coated in pepper.Mash - smash comes to mind. That or frozen elasticly thick substance Gravy - salty , in fact I was left with a salty taste at the end the end of the partial meal I ate.Broccoli , I didn't get to see any as one of our party had the dregs and they had ran out. But she wasn't impressed either. Yorkshire pudding - often the greatest part of a roast but not in this case, I couldn't even describe it , maybe an edible flannel ? A party of 7 and not one of us cleared our plates.This was a gift for fathers day , If your looking to impress or make a special day, go somewhere else. I am regretful to say these words but it can't go unsaid as I was advised against going but ignored the advice as it was convenient, it's a waste of money time and effort going to marr lodge. One point to make , they did have signs up looking for a new chef. ,maybe that is why.So , the food ... Rubbish Now let's move on to the service.Wasn't rude , but by no means polite, what is the point of asking " was everything ok " yes normally like everyone else I normally say " yes thank you " even if it is slightly off but this time I couldn't , I really needed to let them know how poor it was so I replied ... " pretty disappointing actually" the waitress replies , ok and walks off. Well anyway I won't be going back. !Subnote : the fact it wasn't packed on fathers day says I am not alone.
Marr Lodge – DoncasterWe came with our visitors from London to Prashad for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had booked in advance, which was just as well as the place was busy with diners. We had mango lasssis, patras, kalva, Rawa utthapam, idli sambar, rengan (auberginces)and potatoes, puris, chick pea chole, and jeera rice. Our guests were delighted that they had an opportunity to dine here. Being Gujaratis, they could appreciate the authentic Gujarati vegetarian cuisine served here. So thank you Prashad. You have now two devoted fans in London!
