This is absolutely one of our favourites, the family have eaten here a few times and we had a big birthday bash for one of our friends this week. The food is great for meat eaters and veggies alike and the service was and always is top class.We are becoming regulars!We love it as a family restaurant and also as a place to go as a group of friends. 5 Stars from us!Favourite dish.Haryali Chicken Boti TikkaIts a grilled Chicken with a ginger / lemon type sauce. It is hot but not so much that your eyes water!I have had it a few times and it i always fantastic. If you like chicken, not to over complicated food with a kick of heat, you should ask for this dish!

Was very disappointed with Sunday lunch.4 of us visited 2 weeks ago and didn't rate Sunday lunch didn't get enough meat looked and tasted like it was pr-packed veg was disappointing and not enough thought it would have been better for the price.

we eat here every week sometimes twice a week and have done since it first opened over 12yrs ago and food and service always first class.see you there!

Had an excellent luncheon recently, modern contemporary food in traditional comfy surroundings. Friendly efficient service but the food really stood out as the feature here. Definitely worth a visit!

Have eaten here twice in the last month. There is excellent choice and the food is good quality and delicious. Friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. The set menus are really good value.

We have known Dino for many years from when he had a restaurant in Sheffield. We decided to make the journey and visit his new restaurant in Doncaster for Jons birthday, WELL WORTH THE VISIT. I am happy that Dino has taken his fantastic chief with him, so food was as lovely as ever. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, lovely decorated, very clean and a very warm welcome.Well done Dino and we will be back

I have now been to the Wheatsheaf many times at lunchtime, but mainly in the evening and can honestly say the menu is wonderful, the specials are a must and we continue to go back with new friends and family to show them this little gem of a find to dine out. The staff are always very friendly and attentive - nothing is too much trouble. The portions are very substantial - in fact I have never tried a dessert due to this fact - although my husband has sampled many - all meet with his high approval. My only negative comment is that it is a victim of its own success and you really must book in order to guarantee you will get a table - so we do that every time and have never been disappointed.

The place shoud of been levelled to the ground after the shooting in 1995. Although, the food aint bad now.

We went to Zucchini's on Sunday 15th April and after a long day driving from Aberdeen to dewsbury we needed something to eat . Zucchini restaurant was chosen by our local hoste and boy was it worthy . Sirloin cooked to perfection , brilliant service, fantastic atmosphere and being Scottish didn't have to pay [RESULT] . Thanks Maureen next time its on me .

Booking made for 7.45, Saturday evening 21st April. We were seated in an out of the way back room with very little atmosphere. Menu was very limited. Quality of food was fine, but rather too pretentious and 'nouvelle cuisine' -type portion sizes. Food was expensive for what was served. Side orders of £3 to add on top of what was quite a pricey main course. Trying hard to be upmarket, not really value for money. Girls serving on were very pleasant and obliging. Don't think we'd go back- too many other restaurants offer good quality food...with much better portion sizes.

I have been to Herberts regularly since it opened, I have never been disappointed with the bar staff or the atmosphere. The music is perfect for the environment and the food is delicious!

myself and 5 friends ate at 31 Castlegate this week, as it had been my birthday, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. A good night was had by all and we will certainly be eating there again

excellent food, excellent service and friendly staff with a smile. Food is superb as are the cocktails, atmosphere very calm, relaxed and a fantastic dining experience. Can be as expensive or cheap as you like... The steak is amazing!
