Zaaras is a really fantastic place. The menu is really extensive and especially good for vegetarians. I have eaten there over 5 times now and have never been disappointed. The service is always excellent. and the food always delicious. I can particularly recommend the Makhani's both the chicken and the vegetarian.

I loved Roberto's when it was in Dewsbury and I visited the fairly new location in Batley last night. The staff were as welcoming as ever and the food was fantastic. The set course meal was very good value for money. A really good atmosphere too. I will be dining there a lot in the future.

I visit the restaurant at least once a week. Food excellent and nothing is too much trouble if you request something not on the menu as I frequently do it is not a problem. They serve Italian wines and beer very authentic Italian food, waiters and waitresses are a delight as are the owner and his family. Highly recommend an absolute gastronomic delight.

My wife and I have just returned from The Harrogate Brasserie after a three night break. The room was fabulous, the service, perfect. A simply marvelous eating experience. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. I would recommend his hotel and restaurant to anybody. Book now and look forward to the best experience you could wish for. If possible try and book a room at the rear of the hotel. It can be a little noisy from the traffic and late night revellers.

We went last night (Monday) after reading the reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and stylish and spacious enough (can't understand earlier comment of tables being crammed together) We plumped for the Mixed Mezes for 2 people which was excellent, the char-grilled chicken kebabs were superb and the salmon was very good also. The service was excellent and the waiter and waitress on duty very friendly, the background music was good too. Would definitely go back and would probably try it out on a weekend. One thing I had to do whilst I was there was to pay a visit to the gents to see if everything written on here is true. Well......it is. They are probably the smallest toilets I've been in in my life but also one of the cleanest and nicely decorated ones too. All in all with 2 mezes, 2 beers, 2 glasses of wine, a Turkish coffee and a cappuccino was £52 inc 10% service charge. I think for the quality of the food we had and the relaxed atmosphere, quick but not rushed service it was very reasonable indeed. Worth a try.

Visited on a Saturday night. Arrived at 9:30 and seated at 11pm. Bar area very small a crowded for such a long wait. Food when it arrived was good but nothing special. Many other places available with comparable cost and quality. I'll be going to those next in the future.

I travel alot & eat at restaurants the majority of the time. i love indian food. without doubt darton balti is one of the best restaurants ive been to. i especially like their long thin, spicy seekh kebabs, which are succulent & melt in your mouth. The house wine is amazing value & the curries offer a great choice. The staff are polite, courteous & extremely professional. i would highly recommend darton balti for a truly exceptional dining experience.

probably the BEST food north of sheffield, fresh,tasty and well presented. staff very polite n helpful too. Well worth the visit you won't want to go anywhere else. Excellent value too

just been to coopers again this weekend, the food is really excellent, this was our third visit and we cant fault it. The homemade Black sheep ale bread especially pleasing, as was the white chocolate and raspberry panna cotta. service in the brasserie was very attentive

We used to have a branch of Hansa’s in Bradford some years ago, which we used to frequent. We went there today at lunch time for their buffet lunch. It was just like old times. The aubergine pakora was brilliant, as was the dal and puris. It is really good value and delicious food too.

Had a meal for my girl friends 40th, so we had a girlie night out, lovely pub, good service and lovely food, we had a lovely night thanks

Celebrated a friend's 50th Birthday at this restaurant on Thursday 24 July for the first time since it refurbishment and thoroughly enjoyed the night. We were very impressed with the upgrade of the place especially the furniture & decoration. The staff were very pleasant but most importantly the carvery was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Out on the edge of town in a peaceful setting. Almost 200 years old, at the junction of several footpaths. Loads of parking space and no through traffic. Tables out in front of the pub and a covered patio area at the back. Bar has lots of nooks and crannies with pool, darts and TV. Five well kept cask ales and the usual lagers etc. Restaurant does cabaret at most weekends and food is served from 12 noon to 9pm, every day. Sunday's is a carvery with a choice of 3 roast meats & fresh vegetables. This is a pub for all the family - a real jewel.

Medici restaurant is a hidden gem!!! It belongs in London or at least in a big city where it would have people queuing down the street, seven days of the week!! It offers an extensive menu boasting everything from excellent Italian pizza to michelin star quality dishes. Whats so great about Medici is that you can take your kids for a discounted quick bite( before 7pm) or bring your boss/company director to impress whilst dining in a sophisticated yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. The local residents need to appreciate how lucky they are having such a restaurant on their doorstep. By far one of the best restaurants in Yorkshire. Take my advice and go. you wont be sorry!!!

Took my daughter for a Sunday lunch and it was delicious and, for her, free (she's under 10). The roast lamb was succulent and the mashed potato was a revelation to my daughter. Not knowing the opening hours we arrived fairly late in the day but the staff were very friendly and did everything to accommodate us. The puddings were great too and the chef took time out of the kitchen to explain what a panacotta was, and it was lush. Its a hidden gem in a beautiful part of Leeds. We'll definitely go back.

We had a fabulous dinner at the Wensleydale Heifer on Saturday evening. I had the best Lobster Thermidor that I have ever eaten (the sauce was so delicious) and my husband said that his fish soup and fish curry were both outstanding. The desserts were to die for and I can thoroughly recommend the amaretto and chocolate ice cream sundae which was a drink in a glass. This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last. The Heifer compares more than favourably to the Crab and Lobster.

When full it's quicker to fly to Rome and get a pizza - walked out due to the long wait, after drinking a liter of water, a beer and eating a starter and my main still did not turn up. Staff seemed uninterested in my complaint. I would not go to this restaurant again - I used to go often and even went first week of opening - but service is so poor now.

I hated the wretched place. It seemed to me to gorify meat eating, but a heart by-pass perhaps changes ones views. I dont know who runs the place now but it used to be a thoroughly objectionable american who was nasty to both customers and staff alike. I shall not return - and I recommend you to do the same
