i have eaten at the angel twice, both times the food was exceptional! the pub/restaurant is quite small so prebooking is really essentail however you can squeeze into the bar area for food of the same standard. wine and beer selection is excellent and the added advantage of rooms in the oub are recommended as it is off the beaten track. i heartly recommend beating the track to the door, enjoy and nip over the road to the wine shop before you leave.

We popped in to the Caddyshack on a recommendation, we had been before but apparently it has been taken over by new owners and the food has greatly improved. we went with my parents for a Sunday lunch ,it was the best Sunday dinner I have ever had !a bold statement indeed. but at only 5.50 we were more than impressed, service good great atmosphere can't wait for next Sunday

First time there, and once we realised that there was a room upstairs apart from the overcrowded downstairs part, it transformed into a splendid evening out. Very helpful and friendly staff and lovely food. Highly recommended.

Fresh food and vegetables served nicely and hot , good quick service. Reasonably priced. Not usual plastic pub food.

The restaurant is actually located in Selby, not York. So there is a mis-print here. They have a new canopy put up on there entrance, it looks very welcoming. We have been many times and the food has always been very good. I really recommend this place.

My friend and I had dinner middle of last week. Nicely decorated, enough people even mid-week to generate some atmosphere and lovely food. The massaman curry I had was divine, as was the coconut rice. My friend's BBQ chicken was not quite what we expected, being a more delicate flavour, but quite yummy all the same. The portion of noodles was enough for two or three healthy appetites. Great venue, food and service. Staff were pleasant, friendly and happy to help with any questions about the food, too. A very pleasant dining experience.

this is a family pub run by anna tim and two lovely kids jenny and ellie they made us feel really welcome. the food is brill proper pub food and not expensive, the people who drink in the pub also made us feel welcome one man played pool with my son. we will be going back to the pub more often now it was a great day out.

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant staff were friendly and the owner Ziggy helped us with choosing our meal. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

I came here with my Boyfriend after we had been on holiday and wanted to cheer ourselves up with a Spanish style restaurant and tapas. We were not disappointed! The service was very good and the manager was present and making sure people were looked after. We had a selection of dishes (about 8) and a bottle of Rosa (that was recommended). The whole experience was lovely and I would definitely go back again. Total meal was about £50.

One of my favourite restaurants in Leeds! The food is divine and the vast choice on the menu means that even a frequent visitor like myself can always find something new and exciting. But if the choice is too overwhelming the staff have always been extremely helpful in helping to select dishes as well as advise on the comprehensive wine list. Fantastic food, fantastic service, and always a fantastic evening - Looking forward to our next visit already!

My wife and I have tried to book a table at William & Victoria for ages..... we were told to come down and wait for a table as fully booked. Wow.....it was worth the wait! Couldn't fault it - best restaurant in Harrogate!

Nowhere can beat William and Victoria for value for money. Brilliant atmosphere any night of the week. The food is excellent and great service. Probably the best restaurant in Harrogate.

we had a party of 16 people booked on Thursday night it was fantastic food the restaurant was almost full, the food was excellent and the service was good bearing in mind it was week days the takeaway was busy. local peoples choice. the restaurant could do well with alcohol licence.
