Fantastic Indian restaurant with a wide range of freshly prepared dishes. Extremely good value for money with 15% student discount on offer with valid NUS. The food is amazing and they don't rip you off with drinks which can so often be the case. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. They also offer a superb takeaway menu which can be delivered or picked up. I am definitely a regular!

Shimla Spice Restaurant – KeighleyI called into the new Shipley branch of Shimla Spice last night. I've got to admit that the food was some of the nicest I have tasted in a very long time. The service was first class, with all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Shimla Spice to anybody without hesitation and look forward to my next visit ... and as I live just down the road that will be rather soon.

Cross Keys Inn – SkiptonThe food here is superb - I had the chicken with taleggio cheese and parma ham on rosemary potatoes and it was spot on. However, the service can be a bit slow - it took a long time to get the drinks and food, and the fruit juice I ordered with dessert never arrived.
Ha! Ha! Bar and Canteen – Leeds City CentreFairly small and homely with a lovely ambience - the special menus for two (inc. wine) are great value. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly.
Ceruttis – HullI had been recommended to prego by a friend normally im not a fan of pasta and pizza but ive changed my mind. Its a small restaurant but it has a nice feeling to it and the pizzas are huge and you can watch them being freshly made in an open oven. Its not the normal microwaved rubbish that you often get . Its nice to taste fresh food.

My other two favourites are Anatolias in Cleckheaton - a new Turkish and Greek restaurant and Brasserie 99 in Wakefield. I think the prices are a bit high at Meze. Depends on what you want to spend. Try out all three restaurants and see what you lot think.
