Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreThis is a great pub with excellent food but the last three times that we visited, the service was very poor. This isn't due to the people waiting on it's just that there are too few of them. We used to eat in here once or more a week but now we go back about once a month just to see if the service has got any better. We wouldn't bother at all except that the food is so good.
Stansfield Arms – BradfordRed Chilli 2 is the best restaurant in Wakefield. Staff are friendly and can? do enough for their customers. Buffet night especially good value for money. We have been regulars at least twice a month almost since it opened and have enjoyed an excellent family Christmas day lunch there for the last two years.
Red Chilli II – WakefieldWe've been here several times. Lots of atmosphere - there's a Turkish room upstairs though the main theme is Spanish. It's a tapas bar. Tapas available in three sizes or you can choose one of four selection trays. It's all vegetarian. For an extra charge they'll let you carve your name in the table!
El Piano – YorkWaiting time was about 15-20 minutes, and when the food came is was gorgeous and well presented. All staff are smartly dress and are very polite. Aamans is in my opinion is the best indian in Leeds
Saffron Desi – MorleyExcellent, tasty, food, cooked in the traditional Kashmir style. Consistent quality of food, after many visits, we will only eat Indian food at the Aargrah restaurant. Always busy, with friendly service, a pleasure to dine in such a superbly run restaurant. Highly recommended.
Aagrah Restaurant – DoncasterBrilliant never lets you down, really personal and cosy and always great quality with a smile!
Jinos Thai Cafe – HeadingleyThe food was excellent, we arrived a bit early so the place was a bit empty at 7:30pm. The place started livening up about 8ish. The Steaks are to die for, bit expensive in my opinion but they are worth their money. Service is excellent, waitresses are friendly and see to your every need.
Cow Shed Restaurant and Grill – WakefieldPossibly the best Indian restaurant in Sheffield
Ashoka Indian Restaurant – SheffieldGreat atmosphere and fantastic food giving a nice and relaxing night out!
Les Caveaux – HolmfirthAlthough at first glance, the menu may appear pricey to some. The quality by far exceeds the cost. Well mannered staff, great ambience and exquisite food. Whether you are out for a special occasion or a dining casually - The Living Room feels comfortable.
Missoula – YorkThe food and service was excellent and even though the prices are on the high side, the quality of the food was outstanding, so value for money really. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, Their professionalism and friendliness was second to none.
Missoula – YorkThis is a fantastic restaurant which we visit regularly. The food is always to a very high standard and the service is second to none. The ambience is great with live music and views overlooking the ouse it is perfect for an evening dinner or Sunday brunch not to be missed if you are eating out in York.
Missoula – YorkExcellent, Excellent - nothing is overlooked and even the decor is a feast for the eyes. Service is welcoming, helpful and polite, but above all genuine (how refreshing) and the food was outstanding. We left a comment that we were just sad there was not a branch in Manchester and the following day we got a helpful email to advise us that one will be along in June 2006. All round 5 stars for not just the food but for going the extra mile. If I ever win the lottery I will be hiring this place to have a very special do!! It's that lovely!
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreI read about this place in the Times newspaper guide to the best Thai restaurants in the UK. The Times had selected this place as the Big Eat aka the best in the country. I had eaten at 2 others on the Times's list, one in Oxford and the other in Edinburgh. Both had been excellent experiences, so I was very keen to try somewhere that was meant to be even better, if that was possible. We booked a table for tonight (Tuesday), and all I am lost for words. Every dish that came to out table, was heavenly. so so good. The food really is amazing. We asked what the waitress recommended, she suggested X2,which was duck in a rich chilli sauce flavoured with sweet basil. This dish was amazing in flavour and can honestly say that I have never ever had better tasting Thai food anywhere. Just wish I lived a little closer, as I am near Liverpool, but will definitely come back again. Well worth the journey. The service is faultless and the heavenly food is gracefully served by smiling angels. Unbelievably good and way way cheaper than the other places I had eaten at mentioned in the article
Sukhothai Restaurant – Chapel Allerton – Chapel AllertonThis place reminds me of south Italy. Warmth, hot atmosphere, great food, and lots of comfort. I am quite picky but at this place I feel very comfy. Service was outstanding. I recommend to any one to visit this little napoly. Mario & Carina
La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreAnother wonderful lunch. I enjoy going to work much more knowing my lunch will be affordable and extremely tasty (and not that fattening) I can also bring along my laptop and connect to the internet to check my mail. Great place, day or night.
