The best restaurant in the whole of Leeds friendly staff and owners

I don't know anywhere that serves better fish and chips. No skin on the fish, thin crisp batter and superb chips. As a restaurant the ambience is pure Harrogate, leather upholstery. I travel from the Midlands two or three times a year just for the fish and chips at Graveleys !.

Very good Chinese restaurant. Food selection is good and place is popular with many of Leeds's Chinese community. Maxis Express above 'The Light' is also excellent for a shopping lunch.

Been to Omar Khans early on a Saturday evening as its nicely situated if you've been to a matinee at the Alhambra. Good portion sizes and the food was good.

I've always enjoyed Hansas. The food is different and more authentic than traditional curry house fayre. Great opportunities to try something different. Not the cheapest but it wouldn't be - its pretty unique in the region.

Eaten Sunday lunch at Haleys several times. For a refined, almost opulent treat it? a great place to go for a high quality meal. The Sunday lunch looks to offer better value than evening dining.

Have been to Habibs at a number of weekday lunchtimes where they offer a self serve buffet as well as a la carte menu. The buffet offers exceptional value and high quality food with good choice. The restaurant is not licensed.

Been to Akbars a couple of times and the long wait for tables is testament to its popularity. That said I prefer some of the others in the area. Akbars is very brash and glitzy, hurried, and 'modern' though the food is alright. Food and interior lack the homely quality of some other restaurants.

Typical trendy eatery. More style than substance but not bad if you're in the city centre.

Very authentic - no cutlery - but great food and good fun. Welcoming staff.

Wide choice of dishes and consistently good. Expect to have to wait for a table unless you get there very early.

Good Chinese restaurant. Food is all really fresh and cooked nicely. Sometimes rare to get good meat in a Chinese but the RE obviously choose their suppliers well.

I liked this pub. It was really friendly and homely feeling and served a very good pint. The menu was traditional and home cooked. The ingredients and their preparation were good and the portions huge. Recommended.

Good menu choice, well served. Not the cheapest but with Asian restaurants you usually get what you pay for.

Very old fashioned pub in style, classic english pub interior, warm environment and friendly atmosphere. Always go to this pub for lunch and the food is always to perfection and there is lots to choose from. Highly recommend this pub for families and a quiet meal for two.
