The eating experience at sous le nez was superb. I had the scallops with gruyere and minced garlic, not the largest starter you will ever eat, but the scallops were plum and it was divine. My partner had the moules mariniere which was very good, although there were a number of empty shells. Main course for me was the venison with apple and black pudding. The meat was tender and the combination of tastes and textures was superb. My partner? haddock with wild mushrooms and spinach was reportedly amazing. The vegetables which accompanied the meal were cooked to absolute perfection, which I think is a good indicator of a great restaurant. Doing the small things well. We shared a desert of vanilla parfait with prunes and earl grey syrup which was amazing, washed down with some good value desert wine. All in all, it was the best meal I?e eaten in Leeds, much better than la Grillade. The friendly and helpful service also put the stuffy and pompous service in la Grillade in the shade. We will definitely be going back to Sous le Nez.

Friendly atmosphere and audibly authentic Thai chef make for a great experience. Its not cheap, but then good food is worth paying for! Food is excellent. The menus have a good balance of original and favourite dishes and seem to change quite regularly!!!

I have been going to this restaurant for about 4 years now since having it recommended by a friend. I have celebrated birthdays and xmas there. It is absolutely outstanding. The food is always fabulous and the service is always first class. I have not had a bad experience even when I took bunch of colleagues there and they put us in the back out of the way!!

I went to the new Bibis last night and can only come up with superlatives to describe the experience. The décor is outstanding - it? like walking into a high class 1930? Chicago joint; quite appropriate seeing as the Italian Mafia were at their peak at that time. It? slick, it? tasteful, it smells of extravagance - absolutely every aspect has been taken into consideration from the floor tiles to the uniforms and the black straws. The whole of the kitchen is on open view to the public and it was fascinating to watch the professionals at work - live, rather than on TV. The service is superb, smart, friendly and efficient. One waiter, not responsible for our table, was walking past, noticed our wine glasses were half full and stopped to refill our glasses. The menu is extensive, the food exquisite, and best described as my taste buds having sex! The ambience is spirited and sparkling and the buzz contagious. All diners are respected equally, no matter whether they?e dressed casually or smartly and the menu is sure to meet anybody? budget. Already my favourite restaurant - ever!

Great place to eatŠeven when waiting for table, they have a nice device to let you know when they are ready to seat you. Excellent food and even better service... was really busy and the service was still spot on. I recommend this restaurant to everyone that likes a good atmosphere and great food. It would be very hard to tell that Simon Gueller has just been in residence for a few weeks. The food was well presented and cooked to perfection. The front of house staff (managed by Simon's wife, Rena) were extremely polite and accommodating. Good restaurants are not just about the food but also about the overall environment and experience. Judging by my experience a Michelin star is not too far off for the Box Tree. Cost for 4 people was £230 incl. wine - a special occasion place!

A very friendly little restaurant with fantastic food and service.

Little Tokyo is by far the most authentic Japanese in Leeds. The Vegetable Rammen is so good it's addictive. Very good choice for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Top restaurant.

I love this place, the atmosphere is comfortable and leather and friendly and romantic. You are never rushed here. An evening here with a loved one, bottle of wine and ANYTHING off the menu is a recipe for a great night.

We had to wait a while for the food but it was worth it. The food was indeed some of the best I had ever tasted we liked it so much that decided to try the delivery service which we use very often. You should give it a try.

Been going here for years now, always the place of choice....Fuji Hero is where I go when money's tight, but when I? not poor Little Tokyo is the place! Fast friendly service, diverse menu, brilliant surroundings and fairly priced. Shall be there on New Year? Day if it's open!

Well cooked authentic thai food using fresh ingredients. Staff very helpful with the difficult task of ordering. Not your normal green/red curry restaurant. Well worth he money
