Bibis Italianissimo – Leeds City CentreFour of us got in on an early Friday night without prior booking, but it got busier and people were being turned away by 8pm. The food was lovely, although pricey. The lamb kebab was very tender and the stifado excellent. My personal favourite was the Turkish rice. Don't know about puddings because we were stuffed!

La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreWe went for food on a Monday when they have half price burgers and it was fab! The tables were almost full (which is great on a Monday evening) and the staff were really friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious. It's not just run-of-the-mill burgers; there is a Thai burger (with fish cake on) and an Italian burger (mozzarella, burger, olives, tomato, basil etc) to name a few. Even at their full price these meals were good value, but at half price they're great!

In a lovely setting alongside Norland moor we went one Wednesday lunch and the place was really quite busy. At £4.95 for 3 courses lunch was frankly excellent value. Pate with French toast, gammon and eggs with real chunky chips and treacle sponge and custard, there is also the a-la-carte which at the price, sirloin steak £9.95, fillet a pound extra you are hardly going to get fleeced.
