Great for an evening out to eat, and the salsa classes were great but believe they are moving to another venue around the corner as they were getting really busy (and the floor is pretty dicey in La Tasca... don't wear high heels ladies!)
La Tasca – Leeds City CentreA real change to find a city centre bar serving quality fresh food. Homemade Fat Chips, real homemade burgers and freshly battered fish. Was a real surprise, such attention to detail & probably the best river view in the city. Chilled-out, cool bar. Definitely recommended.

La Bella Vita – Garforthit is always busy here, but that adds to the atmosphere. the service is very good and the menu is varied and reasonably priced.

Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreThe Emmotts is a really nice local pub with lots of friendly regulars, the managers are never around and the bar staff seem to run the place. The pub is in desperate need of a refurb so come on Samuel smiths sort it out please!!!! The cost of the food is quite expensive and not great but the beer and other drinks are very cheap.

Habibs – BradfordThis establishment is now known as the Nawaab Khan Restaurant and very, very good it is too. Family run with Sajid at the helm, the food is quite superb. I ate fish pakora starter and chicken nihari with pilau rice for main course. Everything was top class and was well worth my visit. I shall be going back for my birthday party.

Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateWhere has the singer gone?? Brought my girlfriend to see him and he was not there. Still excellent food, the weeping tiger is gorgeous and the Chaophraya special is just to die for. Beautiful surroundings, service always comes with a very welcoming smile. The place hits all the right notes with me but missed the singer.

Brown Cow – HaltonReally really good food. It is rather small, but this adds to a great atmosphere. The staff are excellent, with every need instantly provided with a smile. The prettiest staff in Leeds. The best Thai food I have ever had, which surpasses their city centre competitors. I ate in the Chaopraya about a month back, and the food was also very good, the restaurant exquisite, but the service was terrible.
Sukhothai Restaurant – Chapel Allerton – Chapel AllertonWe went here with a bunch of people on a Wednesday night and I was appalled by the service and atmosphere, even though we were actually squeezing ourselves elbow on elbow on the reserved tables... The food was really good, and the prawns I had were of excellent quality! We had to wait a bit long for the food, but they served us all at the same time, which I appreciate very much. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion, and the tables for four are of a more comfortable size!
