Great little restaurant. Food and service were fantastic. Great value for money. Will definitely return.
Simplicity – South LondonWe visited this central Covent Garden restaurant on 2nd May 2007 and it took me and my 3 friends THIRTY MINUTES to choose a pizza. There are about 12 starters to choose from and over 40 pizzas! We were very impressed at the decor, the service was excellent and the choice of pizza toppings was fantastic. London prices, but excellent atmosphere! Highly recommended.
Fire and Stone – Covent GardenWe visited this restaurant on 3rd May 2007 as we needed a cheapish tea before catching the train back up North. They offer 2 courses for £8.90 and 3 courses for £9.90. The menu was Mediterranean and lots to choose from. We had three courses and the food was tasty, perfect portions, proper home-made Spanish/green style. Central Covent Garden location. Really nice! The waiters were attentive, very good choice.
Bistro 1 – Covent GardenGreat food and speedy service. Most memorable for us was the mojito cocktails, absolutely perfect!!! I'd go back just for one of them, well maybe a few then!
Foundation – Holbornthe place is wonderful, the food was delicious. Definitely recommended this restaurant to everyone.
Le Chef Masgouf – Bayswater and PaddingtonI visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The food was great - the menu is vast. It may seem pricey but it's worth it. My favourite was the Armenian-style kebab presented on a skewer and with Armenian style "Lavash". Very recommendable place.
Erebuni – Bayswater and Paddingtonwhat a little gem of a place, i was taken there by a friend last week it was fantastic great ambience was fantastic so much I stayed till after midnight. The host Pascal treated everybody as a long lost friend. A must visit when in London.
Le Beaujolais – HolbornGreat new restaurant at Sanderson. Have been a fan of the Long Bar for a while, tried this last Friday and was fantastic. Really fresh Malaysian food, we had scallop skewers, green papaya salad, curried crab laksa and suckling pig. All food was great and service refreshingly friendly. Great atmosphere, good if you like a 'buzzy' cool place.
Suka at Sanderson – FitzroviaThis is a local gem, excellent food and very reasonably priced.
Simplicity – South LondonGreat food and well priced.....will be going back to this place on a regular basis, great for quick, delicious and well priced meal.
Two Point Bar and Kitchen – MaryleboneFound XO on Sugarvine, and went with some friends who live in the area - and what a gem! It is without doubt the best restaurant and bar in the area, and is well worth the trip for myself to go to the restaurant (I live in east London). The food and service were excellent, and the wine list was extensive and had some great choices. The hostess told me that there are other restaurants in the group including that of Eight over Eight (Kings Road) and Great Eastern Dining Room (City) - I can? remember the other names, but I? going to try them all!
XO – North LondonI was taken back by the detail the designers had obviously put in to make benugo's at the BFI simply wonderful, the crowd were very cool and the cocktails are just fantastic all at a reasonable price. We all ate during our visit, the food was lovely with good portions and you even get free water & bread which is very rare. I really recommend a visit, there should be one in each city in england.
Benugo Bar and Kitchen – South LondonI love their food. I can't stop eating there. Great food and very reasonably priced.
101 Thai Kitchen – HammersmithGreat place to head for if you're hoping to seek out truly authentic Indian cuisine. King prawn suka is one to have.
Muhib Indian Cuisine – East LondonGood vibe, recommend the Calamari. Gets really busy at weekends. Average price.
Desperados – IslingtonGood Service and very friendly. Food is very tasty, curries are wonderful
Thai Break – KensingtonReally nice combo of bar and restaurant, great pan Asian cuisine, fantastic cocktails and beautiful surroundings, go there to treat a loved one or to impress a first date
Zensai – Camden TownGreat fun! A bit pricey but worth it- stops the wrong kind of crowd coming in! interesting decor- French/holiday feel. Janet was a laugh; I'd definitely be back soon.
