101 Thai Kitchen – HammersmithFriendly, informal atmosphere and authentic unfussy Spanish cooking in decent sized portions make for a pleasurable and satisfying evening;- I've taken many friends here, it won't break the bank and you don't get hurried through your meal. Highly recommended!
Cafe Espana – SohoGood local Italian in Fulham. Always busy at the weekends. Interesting and varied menu. Owner managed which makes a change. Reasonable wine prices Modern interior and downstairs dining room for overflow (not visited). Only very minor criticism is that it needs a little more character. Visited three times.
Nuovi Sapori Restaurant – South LondonWhat a beautiful place! I went to the Greenhouse for my 5th Anniversary and had a beautiful experience. The new Chef Antonin Bonnet is a real artist and deserves 2 Michelin stars. We had the Truffle menu, a memorable gastronomic experience!
The Greenhouse – MayfairVery welcoming from the offset with smiles all round. Great ambience to the place with a good mixture of cliental ranging from middle aged Italian men to tourists and Londoners. Excellent daily specials all well explained and great range of wines.
Demartino – FitzroviaZafferano is an exceptional Italian restaurant, touted as the best Italian in London. Head Chef Andy Needham trained under Giorgio Locatelli and has since become an outstanding Italian chef in his own right. The menu is seasonal, with the freshest ingredients making their appearance when in season. Pastas melt in your mouth and the risotto is perfectly all'onda. Meat and fish dishes are equally well constructed. Desserts not to be missed. If you can get a table, go!
Zafferano Restaurant – Belgravia and PimlicoBest Italian food I have had since visiting Italy. A hidden gem on Bethnal Green
E Pellicci – East LondonA great find in an expensive area littered with over rated restaurants. If you are a foodie who loves their portions big then this place is for you. Deep bowls full of home-made pasta, great meat dishes and very well priced wine (very drinkable house wine at £11) The place was packed with Italians and downstairs there is a private room with a big screen to show live football. The place has the feel of a 'local' restaurant but its in the West End- heartily recommended
Demartino – Fitzroviaשלום אכלתי במסעדה בווטפורד. היה טוב מאד נהניתי במיוחד מהעגל ברוטב פטריות יש אפשרות לקבל את המתכון לרוטב הפטריות, נורא טעים מאד מודה איזי
Lartista – North LondonFabulous French brasserie with such a lovely view into leadenhall market. really great food - proper brasserie food - just right for these chilly winter months. It's so good and the staff so lovely I'm going back in January for my birthday dinner :-)
Lucs Brasserie – Cityrecommend to all thai people.
101 Thai Kitchen – HammersmithThis is a great restaurant. I've been going here for 17 years. The food is fab; the waitresses are stereotypically stern eastern European types, who don't suffer those who've been foolish enough not to book ahead. It was gutted by fire in September 05 and refurbished to the same austere Polish style it had been done out in forty years ago. Even my mother-in-law liked this restaurant!
Daquise – KensingtonWe were looking for a lunch buffet to eat at for our end of term since we were sick of the Pizza Hut buffets. We decided to try something new and Dad recommended Wings Buffet. It wasn't hard to find - quite close to the Westferry DLR station, and after we went in, a moderately-helpful waiter guided us to a non-smoking table for eight. The drinks selection was limited, but we weren't there to drink anyway. The atmosphere was very casual, no fancy decorations or anything to make it look more Chinese than it should be. The staff were helpful but silent (you can hardly blame them, this is a buffet after all). There were about 30 different dishes to choose from, as well as ice cream/fruit/jellies for the kids' dessert. The selection was pretty typical of a Chinese buffet - the usual sweet and sour pork to cashew chicken and beef in black bean sauce. Some variations on fried rice and noodles were present as usual. Mini aromatic duck pancakes was about as exciting as it got. It's a shame that they don't have dim sum, but it could hardly be expected at that price. We walked out pretty satisfied. Even at the higher holiday price of £6.90 (normal price is £5.90), it was still pretty good value for money, and I'd come back again. Great for a pit stop, I'd recommend it whenever you're by the area and want something Chinese.
Wings Buffet – DocklandsFor a Chinese Restaurant, this would really get my vote. Mr.Chows in Knightsbridge is the nearest I can think of that would be on par with this one. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
Princess Garden Of Mayfair – MayfairI think Hong Kong City is the best chinese restaurant EVER! everyone should go there!
Hong Kong City Restaurant – South LondonThis is by far one of my favourite restaurants in London and definitely the best Sushi I ever had. It's expensive but worth to safe up for. I really like the Lamb Furikaki Salmon Pizza and Chilean Seabass.
Sumosan – MayfairIts unreal place packed at all times.Food so good and at these prices will defo go back
Lahore Kebab House – East LondonWhat a fantastic Pub!! Real beer not rubbish where you can taste last nights lipstick! Good atmosphere and food was outstanding. Camden websites says it? really clean!
