Even if we were too early, we could have a seat and get a drink. The staff was really friendly and the food was just perfect!!!

All our steaks were over cooked, asked for medium rare and was well done. Wine was very good value for money. Service was good until we highlighted the overcooked steaks. Really disappointed in our first visit unfortunately.

Food was out standing as was the service as usual, been here multiple times and every time it does not disappoint, 10/10

Are here a number of times and food is good, on this occasion after ordering drinks and water we had to wait on the water for a while and had to ask again for it, there was no napkins on the table and had to ask for them as well as well as side plates, when the meals came I had ordered fish and chips but was then given macaroni, the waitress did say she would change it for me, but I just took it as felt sorry for the waitress, never the less the food was lovely and would come back , it was a busy day I think for them

Food and atmosphere the best this is the 2nd time we have visited and will return for sure ! But I do have one thing to mention the staff need to talk to each other on both occasions asked numerous time the same questions by different staff does become frustrating for example we got there Friday 1st sept at 8pm table not ready which is fine we stood just inside door and within 3/4 minutes 3 members of staff asked if we wanted to look at drinks menu then at table twice 2 different members of staff came to us with meat board just feels a bit of a communication issue , but I would rather say so the issue can be addressed. Thanks for 2 beautiful meals so far x

The whole experience was great from the food to the service. We ordered the shared platter which was absolutely delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the rest was delicious too. The staff were very attentive but not overly. It was a busy evening which made for a good atmosphere. The price was about right considering the food was exceptionally good, I would definitely recommend this restaurant as it had everything.

My husband and I ate here.Starter of lamb risolle was amazing and his sausage dish also . The stroganoff was to die for(so tender) but the parmesan mash was water and lumpy....slop. His burger was great but needed a garnish!on.One piece of lettuce! The cheesecake was delicious Everything was made by the chef, even the cheesecake.Oh, and the steak fries were amazing.We will return.

We had such a lovely time on our first visit to Parrilla. The food, service and decor are all excellent. I thought it was very reasonably priced and value for the price we paid. We will definitely be returning .

Delicious food, lovely surroundings and great service. My husband said it was one of the best steaks he had ever had and that I’d saying a lot! I had the stroganoff which was to die for. We will most definitely return and will recommend to friends and family. Only one small complaint was that my husband ordered a neat whisky after the meal and it was served with ice and a slice of lime!!!! No, no, no! The only thing wrong with an otherwise excellent evening

Lovely cosy little restuarant. Food very good although felt the scallop starters were a tad pricey, for ony two each.

What a fabulous time I had at the Golden Lion Hotel on Wednesday 23 August 2923 celebrating by 60th birthday. A big thank you to Ash on reception for organising the booking and making sure that the gluten free guests and my self were catered for.

When my wife and I are in Stirling we usually try to dine at the Golden Lion. We have stayed there also a few times in the past and the breakfast was superb. We were at the Castle, so booked in for dinner. The staff were very friendly and seated us even though we were a little early. The first course came very quickly and was very tasty. The vegetables were a little undercooked and so a little hard even for my knife to go through. We asked for a sweet menu, got it and then waited an age to be asked what we were having. The girl came with the sweets and we had to ask for cutlery. We had tea next and had to ask for milk. The servers looked very young and basically seemed to be learning on the job. It might have been our bad luck that this was their first night working, but it was a Saturday and maybe training should happen when they are not so busy.

We were a party of 10 on a Saturday night and we all agreed the steaks and other meals were delicious. Best meal out in a long time. Service was excellent and staff friendly and helpful.
