Great food, great place, just disappointed with the service. If the staff could improve on there waiting skills then great. I have eaten there on many Occasions but the last 2 Occasions the service has not been so good. Eg, bottle of wine plonked on the table with 2 shabby glasses, aren? you supposed to let the consumer taste the wine first ?

Have been to loads of Indians, and have to say that this is the best I've been to in Liverpool. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the ambience of the place added to a great evening and dining experience. Also most importantly for us, it was not smoky.

Esteban is AMAZING. I've only been in Liverpool for 4 months, and so far I think I've been here about 5-6 times! I brought my parents, sister, and friend from the States here and they all loved it as well. You gotta try the sangria, it is wonderful. If you are looking for a meal that you and your party won't be disappointed with, Esteban is the place!

I feel like I'm going out on a limb here, but I went to the Gulshan last night, and I didn't think it was all that. The food was nice, and the quality of the meat especially was very good, but the "green" balti was brown, and wasn't as fresh and zingy as I was hoping. The dall we had was pretty standard, the sag aloo ok, but most of all the service felt really cursory. Looking at other reviews, it sounds like we caught them on a duff night, but it would have been nice if they'd smiled occasionally. I might go back for a takeaway, but I don't think I'd bother to eat in the restaurant again because the atmosphere just wasn't there.

Went to Maranto's for my brother in-laws 40th birthday party we were a party of 25. We were all sat at one table with balloons. They really made the effort with decorating the table. Fantastic service the food was served in large portions plenty of choice . Would recommend this to anyone.

booked at last minute and they accommodated a large table of 11 for me. food was great (esp. recommend the seafood fajitas, or the snapper) and service good too. oh, and beers v.good too - rec the (very strong) bock!

The food at Esteban is excellent and is great value for money. Out of all the liverpool restaurants, it is a personal favourite, it ticks all the boxes, and never fails to impress!

The Gulshan is a superb curry house. Friendly & knowledgeable staff, decent prices and great food. All the usual suspects are there on the menu along with interesting vegetable and fish dishes plus specialities like green coriander balti masalas and mustard baltis. Highly Recommended.

We have been to Red Fort a few times now and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are extremely polite, efficient and accommodating, and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. We also really like that there was no smoking allowed at the table (it being restricted to the bar area). The restaurant itself is quite large (with an upstairs dining area when required), well lit and pleasantly furnished. They also offer a take away service. We're already planning our next visit. You should definitely give it a try :)

Tasty, well presented food -with a great choice of interesting dishes. Great service and good choice of drinks. The combination of bar and restaurant provides a lively atmosphere without too much excess noise. Finally, the dark oak and natural brickwork interior provides a calming and relaxed ambience.

Lovely atmosphere with helpful staff. Delicious, tasty food - so much so we returned the following week!!! Made our way through the beer menu - would recommend the Brazilian Brahma.

Glad to see a fantastic new addition to Lark Lane. The outstanding food and very attentive staff makes this a fantastic night out. Will definitely be back to sample both the extensive food and beer menus!! 10 out of 10! Highly recommended.

The food is superb and the staff are extremely welcoming and provide an excellent service. There is so much to choose from you will find it hard to pick something.

Came here with the family a few months ago, and couldn't believe how well we were treated. The quality of the food was to die for and just can't thank the staff more than possible for the quality of service. Especially the scouse/spanish barman who kept us and our kids entertained. Came in here again on Sunday with my wife and had a relaxing, delicious lunch. Thanks again!!

Have tried most Indians in Liverpool. Nowhere even comes close to this place. Have been a loyal customer for 5 years now and now have to make a 30 mile round trip to pick up takeaways, as everywhere else always is a disappointment now. Would highly recommend you go nowhere else!!

Have just had one of the most pleasant meals for some considerable time. The food was perfect - lots of different flavours and textures and beautifully presented. The service was superb - friendly, warm and courteous. We had a Spanish girl in the party and she also was impressed with the standard of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We could not have wished for a more perfect afternoon. Thank you.

What can I say? Lovely, scrumptious, delicious, spicy and just down right good curry. From the popudoms and dips to the last crumb of Nan bread its the best curry I've had in the North West. The price is great and the staff are lovely. Watch out for the weird liquor at the end though!
