We've been to many Indian restaurants in Liverpool. I'd say the best is Light of Bengal in Aigburth Rd. The service, food, staff excellent.

Grew up with Keiths it hasn't changed its character,still safe. Lamb Chops are to die for! It makes my mouth water just thinking about them! The Sunday Roast is defo the best hangover cure!

My partner and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. food excellent service excellent. Definitely go again.

Nice Bohemian atmosphere. No pretension bar/restaurant. Although they seem to have whacked up the prices in the last year, making it not quite the cheap option it used to be.

One of the best kept secrets in Liverpool. With an extensive menu, friendly, efficient staff, and whilst it is still lesser known a great relaxing ambience. Definitely my vote for the Indian Restaurant of the North West. Simon Liverpool.

Very nice place to eat and great service everytime

Having Dined at Estebans on several different occasions & with varying sizes of Parties, I can do nothing but praise the Mouth-Watering Tapas Selection, the friendly, multi-lingual & helpful Staff, not forgetting the chilled/relaxed atmosphere. Estebans isn't just a Restaurant, it's an experience!

I can only echo the other comments here. I went here for the first time yesterday, for a late Sunday lunch, and will certainly be back again. Wonderfully cool, fresh interior (compared with the hot, sticky, humid air outside), superb service and food which simply could not be faulted. A gem of a place!

I dined here last thursday from about 6.45pm, just enough time to take advantage of the early menu. The purpose of our visit was to introduce my dad and sister to the world of tapas. They thoroughly enjoyed it although they couldnt get over not having the food on the one plate from the start!! The restaurant was nearly full and the service was good. We enjoyed it that much we indulged in desserts and liquer coffees. The bill was just on £68 incl drinks, dessert each, and two liquer coffees. Definitely worth the visit, go!

Without a doubt the best restaurant on Lark Lane and definitely the best Tapas bar in Liverpool. The food is delicious, the staff are pleasant and child friendly. The service is perfect and everybody is given 100 % attention.

Very good restaurant far better then 'La Tasca 'portion's are far bigger and very tasty. Lots of staff so service is quick and efficient. The bar is good separating the smokers from the non smoker's. I like going there on a sunday morning for the great sunday breakfast and usually make a day of it (weather permitting )sitting out on the terrace drinking San Miguel and enjoying more tapa's from the very varied menu and they are child friendly. My 3 kid's love it..

The food was probably the best tapas I have ever had. Also the service was excellent and the staff were very polite and pleasent. I had a great night and can't wait to go back.

Food was delicious, and the early tea time offer of 3 selected tapas for £7.95 is well worth it! The service at first is good, but too slow to take away plates, asking if you need more drinks, would you like the dessert menu etc. Even when there is only a few customers in the restaurant! Waitress's are also a bit grumpy but i would still return. If the manager reads this, "give them a shake!"

Esteban is far better than the "La Tasca". The quality of the food is excellent and considering this, the prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Excellent food, let down by authentic Spanish service, i.e grumpy, dismissive and unpleasant. Still worth a visit for the top tapas!
