The arancini were delicious as was the feta tart with nicely cooked real fresh veg and moreish mashed potato. The food was served in a very timely fashion even though it was a very busy evening. Staff were very welcoming too.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthYesterday we had the best Sunday dinner we've every had! We had plenty of food and lots of meat, even the small plate was big. The gravy was the best we've ever had. The food was tasty and hot. We had Sunday dinner here last year while we were away and it was great, so we decided to come back. We drove nearly two hrs for another one yesterday. Like I said it was perfect. We would highly recommend it.

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthBooked for a Sunday lunch. The staff were very flexible when we arrived 30 minutes early. We ordered four Sunday roasts and were told we could not have secondary Yorkshire puddings as there wasn’t enough. The beef was overcooked and the veg was tasteless. Lamb was mediocre at best. We visit the pub every year and have done for the past four years, not sure we’d return for food again.

Would have had a pudding but thought choice was limited ? Nice atmosphere , friendly staff and better still we could take the dogs inside .

Objected slightly to having to go to the bar to order our food and drink as it was quite busy and we had to queue (5pm on a Thurs so could be a nightmare at the weekend). We're just not used to that in a reasonably expensive eatery.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe had a lovely meal in this great little pub last Saturday. My husband ordered tempura battered sole and I had chicken and almond curry. Both our meals were delivered to our table very quickly, they were delicious and obviously just cooked, as they were piping hot. Although the pub was extremely busy, the staff were helpful, courteous and efficient. Whenever we come to Wales we always make a visit to the Victoria, and have never been disappointed, Thank you for a lovely evening meal which was very welcome after a long drive from Norfolk.

But this time I was not impressed the food was good although a bit over priced along with drinks. The service was absolutely awful waited 10 mins at the busy bar for our table which was pre booked then had to go back the bar to order our food and queue again the staff were not interested when my father told them that it wasn’t working the way they were doing things and the staff member actually swore at my elderly father I am disgusted the way he was treated.

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe have been visiting the Victoria for many years and this is the first time we received a poor service. The food was very good and we all enjoyed our meals. Their were six in our party and the meals were bought out at different times. The last meal was so much later than the first two, that 2 had already eaten theirs. We asked politely twice for mayonnaise for the last meal but never received any which was disappointing.
