Another fantastic visit to the Victoria Inn for our anniversary on the 23rd March 2024. Booked a table for 6.30 . Great service and food to match. Not a long wait for food and waitress was very attentive ,apologised for no cutlery on the table and fixed that straight away. Excellent service.

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthDisappointed with the quality of food, overcooked, tasteless, service was below standard, had to clear main courses dishes myself before dessert, in the annex and no table service so getting up & down for drinks, coffee and to order dessert. Waiting too long to be served, goodness how they going to cope in the peak season. You have to improve or you will have more reviews like mine

Not just for the taste buds but also for the mind with great information about where the food comes from. Antonella is so inspiring. Obviously lots of hard work and love are going into the food. I will definitely be back!
Foxglove – BarmouthWe had a fantastic evening at Foxglove. We are not vegan but the tastes and textures of each course were absolutely amazing - Luke is an absolute wizard! His charming partner Antonella runs front of house and explains every dish as it is served. Being a small restaurant the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We also had a fantastic bottle of wine! We will definitely be returning.

Every plate is a masterpiece to look at with exciting and well blended flavours. The service is 100% with Antonella's wonderful personality explaining every detail in the dish. Eating here is not a normal meal. It is a beautiful dining experience. Visit once & you will go back again & again. Have been many times and always leave feeling more like friends than customers.

Charming hostess who explained the dishes wonderfully and provided a cracking playlist to complement the meal. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthOur 2nd visit to Foxglove didn't disappoint. Incredible place - one of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at and such creative, beautiful and TASTY food. What makes it amazing is that it is also foraged, local and vegan food AND the restaurant in the middle of Barmouth is also dog friendly. We will be back again and look forward to telling our friends about this very special place.
