Brilliant meal, great pub will be visiting again!

We came on Sunday and had a lamb roast and my husband had the pie we definitely enjoyed our meal. It was the best we’ve had in a long time Credit to the chef and the staff are staying down the road in an Airbnb as we come to Bournemouth for one night. We definitely come to this pub again in the area.

Brilliant food and service as usual

we booked for sunday dinner on 11th may 2025. placed the food order and 2 other tables ordered after us. another table of 5 then placed food order and was told there were no sunday dinners left. the 2 tables that ordered after us received their food. ours still hadnt arrived. i asked one of the staff where our food was. while he was checking, the table of 5 received food including sunday dinners (which they were told there wasnt any) the member of staff came back to apologise that there was a mix up in the kitchen and our food order had been stamped as being sent out. this wasnt the case and advised the member of staff we werent happy at all

Excellent meal, served quickly, although we were in no rush.

First visit and found online booking very simple. Four of us ordered four different dishes all served very quickly. Staff pleasant We thought it was overall very nice . Will return and sample something different off the menu .

We have been using The Vic for many years, the food and service have always been 1st class. We ate outside in the garden yesterday, what a beautiful setting.

We ordered a sunday dinner. 3 people ordered after us. 2 of which got their food. The other table were told that there were no sundays dinners. They were then being served sunday dinners. When i asked a member of staff where our food was, we were told jo sunday dinners were left. But i told them them the other table was given our food. The replacement food we had was disgusting

My wife and I enjoyed a very good fish dinner here. Pleasant and efficient bar staff. Good atmosphere.

Our second visit here and absolutely fab food. Great service hot food and friendly staff will definitely be our favourite place to eat whilst visiting Barmouth.

We love the vic and rave about its food normally but last Saturday it was alll very bland and just not as good as normal Beef pie and vegi burger Have you changed chef or meat supplier

Friendly welcome. Good service. Table poorly situated in back annex next to kitchen door. Decent food though server forgot side dishes. Great chips!

Best Sunday dinner I've had that I didn't have to cook. Portions were a good size and the meat just melted in my mouth. A quick service with a short waiting time. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. A great garden with areas for children to play too.

Gorgeous Food and the chips are amazing! Staff are lovely, too. We come here regularly as a family. Gardens brilliant for the children. Would highly recommend.

Excellent tasty food well presented Menu quite broad Big portions so quite good value for money
