Brilliant service, food cooked to perfection. The belly pork is to die for, my other half had a succulent beef roast. Wouldn't go to any other establishment for Sunday lunch.

12 of us had a lovely sunday carvery whilst we were staying locally for the weekend. Staff were very friendly - lovely view too.

Although we've been for drinks before, for some reason this was our first time dining. We ate on a quiet Thursday lunchtime and had a lovey window table overlooking the hills beyond. Really warm welcome, surprisingly wide choice of lunches available and the food was excellent, especially the butternut squash veggie option and the espresso crème Brule. All in all very relaxing, good value and will definitely return.

Excellent staff, food cooked beautifully, sublime friendly service. Wouldn't have Sunday lunch anywhere else.

I booked Sunday lunch whilst en route from Essex to Woolacombe. A very friendly pub, no problem with us arriving half an hour early. The excellent food was served quickly and with a smile! Great value. A very relaxed Sunday lunch. Thank you.

Outstanding food and service. Had our dog with us so was put in a nice quiet corner. Food was delicious,had the rack of ribs which was brilliant,my wife had the halloumi burger which was well cooked juicy in a crisp batter. Service was quick and the cost was reasonable. Would highly recommend.

We visit The Poltimore Inn for Sunday lunch every time we holiday on Exmoor..and every year we are not disapointed, it is of the highest quality, perfectectly cooked, with a vast selection of sides. It is a lovely inn with an old world charm and wonderful staff.

Food is incredibly good (especially the Ribs!) and service to match. Great pub and value for money 10/10.

Four of us had a meal on Saturday 2nd May. Lovely food. The team were busy and up against it, but smiling and giving great service. Nothing to fault.

A lovely stay at a wonderful pub. What a terrific find. Food was excellent. Great choice and all seemed home made and fresh. Lovely breakfast too. Good options available. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the wonderful staff. Will stay again if in the area. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a fabulous Birthday celebration. The Sunday carvery was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. What a view from the dining room too, we will most certainly be back.

This is a regular visit for us. The staff and atmosphere as always were top notch. I believe the menu has been changed recently and not sure if the chef has changed as the food wasn't to the usual exceptional standards. Chicken starter whilst delicious came in a tin with absolutely no garnish. The chicken burger is always my go to but this time again whilst yummy left me feeling underwhelmed. I hope this is a blip as we will be back.

Such a lovely Easter Sunday lunch. We had the roast pork and it was perfect - hot, tasty and plenty of it. The service was great!
