Great meal. We have the beef pie, accompanied by mashed potatoes and lots of green vegetables. Well cooked and very tasty, in fact we struggled to eat it all. The service was excellent. The two young men went out of the way to to accommodate us. The Pub is tastefully furnished with lots of nooks and crannies to give it a really cosy feel. I will certainly go back.

Service was excellent. The breakfast too was superb with an extensive choice. We also stopped for two nights in a very comfortable room. Highly recommended.

Before arriving the staff had oragnised the area, set up the gifts and prepared 2 bottles ready for our arrival. They worked with us on timings, checked on us to make sure we had all we needed. The food was served promptly and was delicious. There was such good choices for both mains and desserts with some extra options. Staff were super helpful, friendly and attentive. Very Happy

The Crown of Cookham – MaidenheadI was very disappointed that on a Saturday night they had no belly dancing. which didn't help the atmosphere. The chicken and lamb dishes were very good. However, the chips was extremely salty and very hot Spicy which was unexpected and my children did not like it. I would recommend that you stay away from the Calamari. which is must have been the worst thing I have ever eaten. Extremely rubbery. The staff are very good when friendly. However, I will not be visiting this place again. Is definitely not value for money?

The Crown of Cookham – MaidenheadWe had a lovely meal before our trip to the theatre, so we were early diners and almost has the restaurant to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and helpful and as we hadn't been able to eat all of the meat from our platter -(there really was a lot and beautifully cooked!) a bag was prepared for us which we could collect after the show. Service indeed. We will return.

The Crown of Cookham – MaidenheadThe place seemed very quiet and empty at breakfast yesterday. There was only one server - fair enough but we had to call on him many times for forgotten items. The coffee was awful. My flat white was more of an Americano. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict without the muffins and toast on the side. Got the toast on the side and the muffins! To finish the toast she asked for Marmalade this eventually arrived in two plastic sachets but with no knife or no clean plate. Again we had to request these. My smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was very nice. I think £20 a head including the tip was a bit on the high side. Another point - ditch the fake flowers and plastic plants. You pitch your restaurant quite high - leave the plastic to cheaper establishments

The choice of food surprised most of us, with a mix of Mediterranean and Arabic foods on the menu. The surroundings were very innkeeping with the restaurant theme and completed the night.
